The hotel has ample amenities like sauna, steam and jacuzzi. It also has a spa and the reception area is exceptional. The view from the hotel is amazing. Its like a modern, well furnished hotel amidst a fairytale European city. The Rooms are amazing with a big mirror and a spacious balcony. The best thing is they provide you a umbrella and a bag pack. Particularly Mr.Franz/Frans was such a lovely dude, he is energetic and also very talented. Definitely will come back here!

Hotel had made it clear reception shut at 6pm - so we made an effort to be there on time (arrangements could have been made for later arrival though). Bedrooms were large, and kitchen area modern and clean. Bathroom was large - with plenty of place for drying wet ski kit - I assume. 2nd bed was a sofa-bed - but rooms so large, they could have fitted a double bed in along with the sofa bed which would have made it more comfortable.
Situated in the Bavarian Alps, this family-run hotel offers elegant accommodation, an inviting spa area and panoramic views of the beautiful surroundings. Berchtesgaden centre lies 1.5 km away.

Bertchesgaden is just beautiful.
Bertchesgaden is just beautiful. There is so much to see and do. The Eagles Nest and Lake Konigssee were just spectacular. Public transport links are amazing and not too tricky to navigate. Hospitality in the area is fantastic, too. We will most definitely be returning.

So beautiful.
So beautiful. We go every year and always discover something new, be it a new walk or restaurant. Never get bored of the beauty and atmosphere. It is so easy to get around using the free bus transport with the Gästekarte. Nothing to avoid. All wonderful. Especially stunning this time of year with the Christmas market. Easy to visit Salzburg by bus or train too. Recommend visit to Bad Reichenhall too.

We visited Eagles nest.
We visited Eagles nest. Because the weather was misty, there was no five-star experience.
because the return bus service you must book for concretely time then we had much more time on top of the hill than we need it, but opposite was very instructive visit Naci’s museum close to the lower bus base.
Location is great (if you have a car), close to Berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest but away from where the majority of tourists stay. There is a fantastic restaurant next door to the hotel. I'd recommend making a reservation. Staff are friendly and helpful, free parking available, room was clean and a good size and the place was clean throughout. Depending on what side you are on the views are fantastic!
I have been assigned a wonderful, very comfortable room with a view from the balcony that was just amazing )) That alone would be worth it. The hotel itself is very centrally located, with parking nearby. All the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The selection for breakfast was awesome. In short, if you are looking for a place to stay in Berchtesgaden - look no further ))
The owners are really friendly and work hard to meet their customers' needs. The hotel has a really good vibe. You can spend time, play games at the restaurant at night.
