Basedow Unit A is spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable, well- equipped and simply but pleasingly decorated. Quiet but handy location with easy walk into Tanunda’s main street shopping and cafes precinct. Thank you Louise for all the thoughtful extras- milk in the fridge, Tim Tams, great local attractions information and toiletry supplements. Loved the range of beautiful indoor plants!

Barossa Idyll comfortably accommodated our family group of 8 (4 couples). There was another room available with a Queen size bed which we would have used also, but one couple unfortunately could not come at the last minute. Being a big group and getting ready for a wedding, we appreciated the 4 separate rooms with a bath or shower! The rooms were very clean, big fluffy towels provided, and the beds were comfortable with lovely linen.
We didn’t prepare any meals at the property but there was a fully equipped kitchen, large fridge and pantry. Thank you to our host for leaving us a lovely platter of cheese, sausage, pate, bread and wine for our arrival. There were several areas for us to relax inside which were comfortable and the large room had a beautiful view.
Easy finding keys and checking out.

Tanunda is a lovely town, full of great cafes and bars, a bit quiet at night but with a group you make your own fun. There are so many wineries so close, you can even do a day walking to some of them. Make sure you go to Maggie Beers and get a massage and of course visit the wonderful wineries.

Tanunda is a lovely little town with a good selection of restaurants and shops. It has character and the locals were friendly. It has a cycle trail running through it which is good for walking and cycling. Bikes can be hired locally. Getting around was easy, we walked to dinner and took a taxi to lunch outside town at Hentley Farm.

Tanunda’s a lovely place to visit and the perfect base for winery visits. Plenty of good eateries and choice of wine cellars in Tanunda itself. Ferment Asian restaurant is lovely and the Angus burger at Char Grill was cooked to perfection. Z wines does great tropical sangria jugs. Nosh cafe is a quirky place and a bit like a tardis with very friendly staff. Krondoff cellar staff very friendly and good wine choice. Visitor centre very helpful and definitely worth visiting to check out what is on in the area.

Spacious bedrooms, each with big beds and private bathroom made it very comfortable for two adult friends travelling together. Clean linen, many comforts like electric blankets, heated towel rails, fancy coffee machine were nice touches. Lovely modern property with four well-designed apartments set back from the main street of Tanunda, with a pool! It was too cold to swim while we were there but I would happily come back to the Barossa in summer and stay here again.
Cottages are in a great location with easy access to the Barossa Valley and walking distance to the Main Street of Tanunda. Great little continental breakfast and a sparkling bottle of wine that came with the booking, was a nice touch. Nice fireplace and new ducted heaters in the bedrooms.
The house was immaculately presented and incredibly comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and check in/out was a breeze. The location, walking distance from the Main Street of Tanunda, was a perfect base to explore all the Barossa has to offer.
Fantastic property just 10 mins walk from Tanunda. Well equipped for a short stay and the host was so kind and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away for a Barossa trip.
Our room was nicely presented by Caitlin from housekeeping and was comfortable. The hotel was positioned perfectly for the event that we went to Tanunda for.
