The place is at a busy cross roads where one cannot stop to access the property. There was nowhere to stop or near to park the car. The pavement outside was a crush of holiday makers. Even had one found somewhere to park, dragging suitcases there would have been impossible. The hosts would hear nothing of an appeal; in short they said. 'too bad' we're not refunding anything. Don't go there without checking out accessibility if driving.

Wimereux is a lovely small town, which has retained its charm over the years. Plenty of independent shops, a very well-stocked Carrefour Express and lots of choice of restaurants. We ate at 'La Vie eat Belle' which was excellent. Wimereux is by the sea with a good promenade for walking. It is close to Boulogne-sur-Mer and easy to get to Hardelot, Le Touquet and Calais.

This is a pretty little town with a lovely long sandy beach. Outside of the main tourist season, i.e.before the French school holidays, lots of restaurants are closed, but there atre still some very good options to get a good meal.

Wimereux is a lively seaside town which feels very safe to walk round after dinner. The streets were clean and there is a good variety of independent shops and restaurants. We found a lovely cafe next to the hotel to have breakfast and a "BBQ" restaurant on the main street both were excellent. There's a lot of restaurant/bars on the seafront, great for people watching. All the people seem very friendly and willing to help.

It’s a super place been coming here many years , only snag is if don’t hit it right can’t get into seafront restaurants for lunch as they seem to stop serving at 2 and was full when we went , not sure if able to book . Summer is better as seats outside and more room .

We have stayed at the Hotel Atlantic several times before (often as our last night before returning to the UK after a holiday in France).
This time was a 2 night short stay to see in the New Year.
Every room has a sea view and is luxurious and well appointed.
The hotel has 2 restaurants - La Liegeoise is a formal fine dining restaurant serving fantastic food with the accent on seafood and deservedly has a Michelin star so is expensive - L'Aloze is a brasserie restaurant and the food is less formal though equally delicious and less expensive.
We enjoyed walking around the town of Wimereux, visiting the shops as well as walking along the promenade and the beach.
Caps Gris Nez and Blanc Nez and the Fort at Ambleteuse are worth visiting.
We will return !!

It is a very pleasant little town with just enough shops and bars for a short stay with a beach close by. There are plenty of places to visit a short drive away and it is close to the ports and tunnel. We find it very relaxing.
Don't like the way they operate their business. They blocked my card at booking with a pending payment . I paid and kept the hotel 5 days,ago land the pending payment is still blocking my account. I have phoned and emailed, and they have still mot removed the pending payment even though the actual oayment has been collected and cleared
Nice breakfast. Comfortable, quiet room with a powerful shower. Friendly reception - the gentleman who met me on arrival made helpful suggestions about local restaurants. Good location near a long sandy beach. This was an ideal place to spend the night before catching the ferry to Dover the following day.
We had a comfort room. It was a good size. Very quiet. Bed comfy. Shower good. Wifi good. Very clean. Public areas very nicely decorated. Good car park charged at hotel
Everything. Position, room and bathroom, lounge area, outside and garden area…..and to have free parking, albeit slightly off site, is a real plus in Wimereux
