Good enough location. On the far side of the river from the main town, but only a short walk across the bridge and into the sights of the town. Several restaurants along the river front once over the bridge.
Supermarket a few minutes walk away, near the bridge, with a decent stock of supplies. Good view across the river from the room. Host was friendly and pleasant. Off street parking, which always gets bonus points from me, but the tree i parked under, dripped sap on the bike. Easy enough to wash off when i got home though. Just don't park at the far end of the top driveway.
Breakfast was basic, but included in the price, so you get what you pay for i guess.
A recently renovated bed and breakfast in Givet, Château de l'Aviette offers sun terrace, private parking and sports facilities. The property has river and garden views, and is 21 km from Anseremme.

Lovely walk to the Camp Romain, fantastic views. An equally lovely walk to Hierges (or you can drive), very picturesque medieval village.
Loads to do nearby, Terrealtitude was great for the teens! Spent a whole day there, was brilliant.
