Thanks to our GPS it was easy to get around and to drive across town to get a close up look at the Viaduct. The town looked lively and well populated with a lot of people enjoying the arrival of summer.

I brought a bike with me, and despite the hilly terrain, I found it manageable and not a bad way to view both the town and the Viaduct. The Viaduct Visitor Centre can be accessed from the ordinary road network (by car or bicycle) and has and excellent high level viewing platform as well as a cafe and toilets etc. There are also special walking and cycling paths which take you under the Viaduct and through one of the concrete pillars. Central Millau is interesting in its own right with a lot old historic buildings alongside the river Tarn.

We finally visited Millau to see the Viaduct (Bridge).
We finally visited Millau to see the Viaduct (Bridge). The property itself is exquisite and the owners delightful.
You should be aware access is via a narrow ,winding hillside road affording wonderfull views of Millau, the bridge the countryside.
At night ,think Mulholland Drive ,LA.
WiFi was intermittent but out phones received 4/5G fine. Sure this could be improved by speaking to the owners if of concern.

We went purely to see the viaduct.
We went purely to see the viaduct. We drove over it and went to one viewing point on the day we arrived and the next day we went to visitor centre and walked up to a different viewing point. Breathtaking views whilst driving around.

There's so much to do in Millau apart from visiting under the famous viaduct.
You've got the Gorges du Tarn, Cirque de Navacelles, Roquefort for cheese and down the road you have the very famous Grotte de Clamouse (Which I can proudly say my family helped discover)

i was only staying there as a stop over while travelling to Spain, after a walk around the town in the evening i could have done with spending a day there to look around more, it looked like a lovely town.
Our car had broken down and we didn't get to the hotel gone 11. 30 pm the left a note on the door and the keys inside we were very grateful for this and after a good breakfast in the morning they let us stay until we got a taxi to the train station to get a hire car even offered to take us if the taxi didn't arrive.
So thanks for a really nice nights stay.
Fantastic hotel - staff super friendly and helpful. Close to the centre of town and the rooms were very well equipped. Loved the separate toilet room from the shower room! We found easy parking down the street.
A clean and basic hotel, great for a traveller passing through, secure parking. The restaurant is in the separate bowling building, the food is fine but basic. A good low cost option for an overnight stay.
Located very conveniently for the main centre. Very helpful and friendly team. Easy check in. Parking for motorcycles in a covered private building adjacent to the hotel.
Super central location. They have motorcycle parking at the front of the hotel but it is not necessarily secure but the area seems safe. Breakfast was awesome
