Clean, quiet and comfortable for a solo traveler. Room would be a bit cramped for two. Staff was friendly and efficient. I needed dinner after the kitchen was closed, but staff went out their way to accommodate my needs. Good conversation with other guests. Easy parking and well located on main road into the town...so easy to find arriving after dark. Good breakfast too.

Very scenic and atmospheric; walk along the river and up in the car-free streets. Great restaurants, La Belle Etoile best meal on our trip to France. Great place to bike, canoe, kayak or take a boat trip.

For the price this hotel is excellent, basic rooms but very clean with fan, hair dryer and dressing table. Fabulous views over the river and right in the centre. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay again. A meal at Au Chalet Gourmand just up the river is a must ***** plus a river trip and the gardens at Marqueyssac.

The accommodation was warm, welcoming, and really well thought out. We took advantage of the washing machine and the drying rack to do our laundry, and cooked most of our meals there. The location was quiet but very nicely placed a few minutes away from La Roque-Gageac, and a short drive away from Domme. Loved the view of the field from the upstairs bedroom.
The gardens full of roses were beautiful and the buildings authentic. The location for cyclists was good although there were some busy roads to negotiate before getting on to the cycle paths.
It is possible to walk to a canoeing area and hotels with restaurants. The ferme was interesting and appealed to French visitors.
Beautiful grounds and building in the most perfect location. Stunning views from every window. Staff and owners were welcoming and kind, food was very good. We couldn’t ask for more and hope to visit with our family again one day. If you are going to La Roque-Gageac, you must stay here!
Great new refurbishment property over the river from domme 2 heated pools great parking,lovely comfortable beds and good quality bedding,staff very helpful in all areas of the hotel
Compared to other hotels - breakfast was not as good....we were expecting fuller options. Service was excellent - coffee in room was great (nespresso).
