The decor and welcome we received were exceptional. Our room with its separate seating area and own staircase in a converted barn was very tastefully furnished and the bed extremely comfortable . Breakfast was delicious and copious. Our host Bernard could not have been more helpful , recommending restaurants and places to visit .
The lady running Abel turned her world upside down to accommodate our family; thank you! Once you’ve met her, it’s hard to bear a grudge against the awkward shutter we struggled to close for the night. Sure, Abel is a country hotel without a plethora of restaurants on its doorstep but if you’re looking for a thrilling ‘go ape’ type place, there’s one 5 min drive away. So, If you need to ziG zag over a river at great speed, Abel is the ideal place and possibly only one in Langeac :)
Booked this for my cycle trip down the Via Allier. A really charming hotel in Langeac just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Chantal and her team couldn't do enough to ensure a pleasant stay. It was such a delightful and peaceful stay after a long day on the bike. Would highly recommend.
Very well placed in the middle of langeac, clean apartment and it has very nice cot and high chair adapted for babies. All refurbished and ready to go. I recommend it for couples and friends having some days of holidays in this amazing location.
