We are a family of 4 locals from Cape Town but a visit to Noordhoek always feels like a real holiday. We spent a weekend at Monkey Valley. On way through we stopped off at Hout Bay market for a browse and lunch and then took the beautiful drive over Chappies to Noordhoek. Spent the evening at Cafe Roux and had dinner and a show. Next day did lunch at Cape Point Vineyards O(CPV) literally 5 minutes away. Great views of Noordhoek Beach from the Vineyard - Very good chard to accompany a good meal. Beers also available and kids had milk shakes so everyone is catererd for.
Noordhoek beach is also great - Long sandy beach and often there are beautiful horses being ridden.
Noordhoek farm village and CPV a must when visiting.

Love this place and wish I could afford to live here!
Beautiful, wild-looking coastline, huge beach. Lots of places to eat and shop. Live music on weekends in at least 2 places.
It has a lot going on, but still has a friendly village feel.
I love also that most places are dog friendly!

I cannot tell you much as we stayed there due to attending a function nearby so did not go there to 'visit' Noordhoek. It is however a lovely location and I would recommend it to visitors, especially if travelling from abroad.

We really liked the village feel at the hotel with all the restuarants within walking distance. The vibes made me feel like we were away from the hustle of the city. And the staff were awesome.
