We stayed in room 4 which is large, very comfortable, and private. The balcony was perfect for sundowners and a braai and the view across the valley is beautiful. The steam shower in the bathroom is excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Bon Accord Farm Cottages are located about 8 km outside of Montagu and offer picturesque views of the Baden Keisie Valley.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway. Perfectly located on a beautiful working farm. We loved the picturesque mountain and farm views, the birdlife, the quietness and being able to walk through the orchards and vineyards.
The cottage was very well appointed, having everything we needed during your stay, as well as being immaculately neat and clean. The beds as well as the couches were very comfortable.
Our host, Elsje was super efficient and friendly. We highly recommend a stay at Bon Accord.

Montagu has grown since I was there last - but in a good way...
Montagu has grown since I was there last - but in a good way. The hot springs and hiking trails in the area are amazing if you're wanting to unwind. The tractor ride and lunch in the mountains is another must. Visit the dried fruit packing shop - you will be able to get your annual dried fruit supply there at a fraction of the cost. Wine routes are also not too far away - so consider doing that as well. Overall - a wonderful little town.

Beautiful and safe town, nestled amongst the mountains. It has a character that is hard to compare with other small towns in South Africa. It is unique in that it is a very peaceful atmosphere surrounded by astounding beauty, yet nestled within the town are excellent comforts, restaurants and a wide variety of excellent accommodation. It is a very special town.

A beautiful well kept town in the wine and fruit farming area of South Africa. Amazing restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries etc. Lovely local market on a Saturday where one gets to meet the locals. So much to do in and around Montagu.

Beautiful small town, with a relaxed easy going lifestyle. Friendly neighbour's, Saturday market in the towns main road, with fresh food, drinks, olive oil and olives from local farms. Beautiful scenic hikes around the peaks of the mountains, showing the beautiful montagu below .

There are no Hot Springs at Montague Springs and i think that should be made clear in the advertising
The pool is heated and murky and dirty and too small for the amount of people that use it
We went for the weekend to relax in hot springs but that wasnt the case at all
Chalets were definitelly not luxury with the smallest TV they could find
Wasnt a nice experience and i definitelly would not recomend it

Quiet and peaceful little spot on a farm like setting with beautiful gardens. It really is the perfect spot to get away from everything. Amazing hiking trails close by and a swimming pool to cool off afterwards.
The facilities are spotless and include everything you need for a weekend away.
The staff are friendly and very helpful.
Would definitely highly recommend to anyone looking to recharge their batteries.
We book quite regularly at the resort. However, we do prefer to stay at Avalon Springs (Hotel). Everything is just awesome. Also, the way access to the hot pools was controlled by security, for those who were not residents at Avalon Springs - that was admirable. Avalon Springs really go the extra mile for their guest and it is appreciated. Definitely going to be booking soon again. See you soon!!
A delightful hotel with very attentive staff and an excellent restaurant that served delicious steaks and superb breakfasts. The rooms in the old hotel had a wonderful period feel and we felt we were part of the lovely town of Montagu. We experienced our first load shedding when we were there, but Bernie ensured it had no impact on our stay. Well done.
This cottage is a little piece of paradise on a farm just outside Montagu. Every single detail has been thought through to make for the most relaxing, restful and enjoyable stay. We loved every minute of our visit, and it was so hard to leave. We can't wait to go back ! Thank you Chris and Colette.
