Very generous and delicious breakfast buffet. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and I think it got better over the week, with consistent quality and enough variety to keep it interesting. Staff were lovely, multilingual and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere was perfect for our kids and the pool setup was a highlight for them. Adults loved the sauna / spa / relaxation area too. A definite plus is the gas station right at the entrance to the town. As always in Italy, you need to pay attention to traffic signs and speed cameras. The town has a charming atmosphere with beautiful views.

San Vigilio di Marebbe is a good starting point for Kronplatz. You can go up and find good places where it not necessary to go down after whole day using black slopes.
There are also a good restaurants there. Enjoy!

A nice little mountain town.
A nice little mountain town. It has a surprisnigly large supermarket and some other stores. The main feature, of course, is the Kronplatz ski center. From San Vigilio you have the start for two lines - the top of Kronplatz and Piculin which offers amazing view and some nice places for afternoon lunch.

This is an excellent ski resort for learners with a long, shallow piste leading back from Kronplatz. Also excellent for intermediates and some wonderfully long black runs to get the lactic going - the 5km Silvester run is a personal favourite, go early!

A small but lovely town in south Tyrol, easy reachable from the main roads and motorway. It is definitely worth to dine out in one of the lovely restaurants in town, they do know what good food is here! We tried Osteria Plazores, Ristorante Erika and Restaurant/Steakhouse Tabarel. Especially the first two stood out in terms of food and service. Highly recommended! Everything in town is within short walking distance and in winter San Vigilio Di Marebbe is your perfect base to visit famous skiing areas like Kronplatz/Plan de Corones and Alta Badia/Sellaronda, the latter via the "Connecting Skiers" bus service.

Very close to the Miara ski lift. Perfect location for skiing all the Plan de Corones, Kronplatz. Very good for families, as Miara and second ski lift are blue and red slopes. The hotel is walking distance to the centre of St Vigilio village. Amazing food. There was a seated dinner with service at the table, primi, secondi and desert. Very friendly staff. Play room for kids downstairs. Sauna and hot tube on the roof. Another 3 saunas and whirlpool inside.
We loved staying at this small wonderful hotel. In mid-winter it was very cosy and warm, wonderful food - breakfasts, lunch and dinner, and the wonderful spa downstairs. All the staff were so friendly. The place has a lovely atmosphere, and little touches which made it a wonderful place to stay. Thank you!
