Ortiesi is a delightful town with plenty going on.
Ortiesi is a delightful town with plenty going on. We stayed there 5 nights and didn't find a bad restaurant - far from it, I think we managed to attend some of the top rated sites on Trip Adviser, but they were not excessively proved and all were excellent.
The town is impressively clean and there are plenty of walks/hikes that can be undertaken without the need to drive.
I would definitely visit Ortisei again.

The breakfast every day was incredible, and provided the perfect start. The staff was helpful in providing tips for various hikes and trails to go on. The hotel is in the perfect location to travel to any of the lifts, and even close to the city center where you can take a bus to other towns or even enjoy Ortisei. On top of the stellar service, the hotel is warm and makes you truly feel at home. Plus they offer Natural Wine and delicious snacks every afternoon on their lovely terrace.
The views all around are steep pine forests which is just lovely, the hotel owner was very friendly and didn’t speak in English very much which only added to the authenticity of this lovely traditional hotel. Breakfast is nice too (pastries, cereal, fruits, meat etc) with our own reserved table every morning. Good location 5 minutes drive from Ortisei, and set back from the road so very peaceful at night.
