We love Sibiu. It has a medieval plaza similar to Brasov with fewer tourists and less commercialization. Sibiu felt like a lived in city with schools and people going to work. We loved exploring the major and minor plaza sites and the amazing churches there. All of the food we had in the city was good. I wish we could have stayed much longer.

Interesting Historical Town. Lots of cafes and restaurants in the main square. This presents a good opportunity to try regional dishes with a view of the old buildings.
Well positioned for visiting other historical towns and castles in the area.

Very beautiful and clean city. Many great restaurants and traditional Romanian and non-traditional food choices. Picturesque views and historical sites all over the city and walking distance from the City Square.
Nice shops with beautiful merchandise everywhere and Bruckenthal Museum is a must visit.

This is an old town with lots of historical places to visit, narrower streets, pretty clean, and a very nice open space museum "Astra". The bad side is the traffic, parking, and pretty expensive accommodation for the quality they are offering and in comparison with the hotels in the West.

Even if we had a short stay this time, Sibiu looks better...
Even if we had a short stay this time, Sibiu looks better and better every time. We discovered new places for long walks apart from the usual ones, all city center is full of great eating places, and you can find a lot of places to visit in order to taste the history of the place. More to this, around Sibiu you can find great places in the mountains for hiking and long walks - absolutely amazing. Don`t miss Astra museum, Avrig valey, Transfagarasan road etc
We only stayed for few hours as we had an early flight.
This is perfect if you want to have a shower and put your head down as the airport is just 5 min drive and the bus stop with local buses is in front of the property.
If you check in late, please make sure you have very clear instructions where you need to be as this caused us lots of stress and time. Also, rudness is a ‚ cultural thing’ , don’t take it personally:)
The host seemed to be thpical Romanian with an attitude. All in all, I would recommend it for a short stay.
We had a pleasant stay at Hilton. We appreciated the stuff that works in the hotel - very helpful, always smilling and ready to serve the client. Also appreciated the large rooms and the atmosphere inside the hotel. What we think that could be improved is the restaurant "Casa Boierului" - half of what we ordered was not the quality we expected and the person who served us was acting as if we disturbed him
Location is perfect - just outside the historic centre of Sibiu. The room itself was gorgeous with beautiful frescos on the wall, spacious and well- equipped. The building is just a dream, super romantic.
Bathroom was clean and just large enough. Airco worked flawlessly, a big bonus in Romanian summers :-)
Someone came to pick us up and helped us find a (free!) parking spot just nearby.
Perfect location near centrum of the city. You can enjoy old architecture and smile service. There is also a parking lot near the hotel which is a big bonus. Recommend to stay and feel the atmosphere.
