This is a gem of a hotel. The location is fantastic, right in front of a beach that is almost private to the hotel, and within a few minutes of Playa Hermosa and Playas del Coco. The property is adorned by beautiful, well-kept gardens and trees, where monkeys and birds can be seen and heard, and is marked by a large and beautiful pool. The rooms are spacious, luxurious suites, with a great bed and large, elegant bathroom and shower. The breakfast was great. And, most important of all, the staff members were always extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, this hotel is a majestic, quiet and peaceful place, a wonderful haven for a restful vacation.

We absolutely loved our say here. We loved the privacy, the serenity and the peace of the hotel, the staff were so attentive and so incredibly friendly, the food was divine and we had access to so many activities in the area. Our favourites were bike riding, jet skiing and the little private ocean bays. We'll be coming back again in October :D.

Staff were friendly. Pool area was nice. Multiple beds were an asset.
The resort was nice, pool was refreshing. No premium drinks, a bottle of Crown was $90, and only 1 brand of beer. The food at the buffet wasn't the greatest. Fish was dry, salad dressings were odd or just oil and vinegar. One day I had a poached egg and the yolk was hard and the whites were runny. French toast was hard and tough on the outside and soggy on the middle. You could only eat in the specialty restaurants once for every 3 days of stay.

It’s a beautiful place if you’re looking to relax and enjoy sceneries. It’s very Humid there but, worth it. It’s not much of a party place if you’re looking for a younger crowd to hang out and have fun. Also, some of the excursions involve a lot of hiking. So, bring comfortable gym shoes or water shoes.

We loved the time of year, the rainy season. There were few travelers, and it was hot but not as hot as the dry season. We did not have trouble getting chairs by the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. The place is beautiful.

We had two adults and three children and thus needed 2 rooms. We booked for 1 night and they let us stay thru lunch the following day. It was confortable. The pools were large and the children loved it.

Excellent buffet style restaurant open all day plus choice of Japanese, Mexican, Italian restaurants and pool side options like BBQ and burgers etc. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. The whole grounds and facilities were spotlessly clean and offered maximum comfort. Lovely swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers and cabanas. While we were there we also used the spa, gym and booked day trips. We would definitely recommend using the hotel for organised trips as all drivers and tours guides were knowledgeable and reliable.
