The architecture and the villas are wonderous. There’s a lot to see but it only takes half a day to walk and see the main points of interest. I did not visit a museum and that would require more time. Instead we visited a small town in the mountains.

I only stayed one night in Korçë, but it was so I could just...
I only stayed one night in Korçë, but it was so I could just have a look around the town, which I did the next morning. It’s a very compact place, and it took me about an hour to walk around. Obviously, if you want to go inside museums, etc, it will take longer. It is definitely worth walking through the pedestrian area opposite the orthodox cathedral, and the old town bazaar area.
My journey took me onward to Berat, over the Tomorri mountains. I would full recommend taking a day trip from Korçë, if it’s available. Beware if you drive that way, GO NO FURTHER ONCE THE PAVED ROAD FINISHES, unless you have a 4W drive car and are experienced driving on loose gravel. The track is used by the quarry companies and is rarely travelled. If anything happens to you up there, it is very isolated and dangerous.
Saying that, the views of the mountains and the national park are spectacular.

Korçë is one of the oldest and - culturally - most inoportant cities in Albania. It is also one of the culinary centers of the country, so the food is amazing. Don't miss one of the tavernas where they serve delicious food and play traditional seranatas for guests. It is a unique experience that you can only have in Korçë.
The city itself is really cute and clean, with its beutiful villas and cobblestone alleys. But I would recommend visiting the villages around Korçë as well, such as Voskopojë, Dardhë, Boboshticë and the Prespa lakes.

If you add to your visit Voskopoja you will be surprised by the cultural and historic richness of the region.

The center of the city is very nicely decorated.As well as boulevard and the main streets are decorated quite nicely.
People are very kind,friendly and ready to offer help.
The restaurants are very high quality in food,with music and very frequented.
There was a skating rink at the end of the main boulevard.
The city is clean and tranquil.
It was great to spend time in Vila Sonnet. We liked very much the beautiful design of the hotel as a whole and the rooms. Everything new and very clean. Perfect location to visit Korçë, Voskopojë and surroundings. Private parking.

The staff was very nice and helpful, e.g. to find good restaurants.
A very comfortable house and the hosts are helpful and responsive to requests. Centrally located near restaurants and a ten minute walk to supermarkets and street markets. Piro also arranged to collect me in Vlore and drive by car to Korce. The house is next to the Richmond Hotel, so is easy to locate.
I liked very much the surroundings and staff service. Rooms are so comfortable and hotel services are perfect, breakfast is delicious and full of traditional dishes. Also there's a staff worker (I don't remember her name) that's so nice, she tells you every Albanian tradition.

It was the best bed I’ve slept in Albania, amazingly comfortable! The breakfast was delicious made of local products. The owner of the hotel was really nice, helped us with information about the city and sharing stories about the house. The house is storical and very beautiful. It was a pleasure.
Bocca Hotel is well located right in the centre of Korce. We first went to the entrance in front of the cathedral, but then realised the main entrance is at the back. The staff were very helpful with bus information and we were able to leave our bags before checkin. The room was ok for a night.
