I stayed with my mountain guide in the small bungalow by the guest house which was spacious and had all you need - really lovely. The guest house was very near the start of the walk to Theth, was very clean, and put up our mule as well as us! We got an excellent, filling meal and in spite of a broadband issue, the hosts managed to connect me to the Wifi using their own phones. My guide - who spoke Albanian - had a lovely time sitting round chatting. A very peaceful spot and excellent value.

Super friendly and welcoming family who hosted me as if I was their daughter. I felt at home and I’m very grateful. Kids of the owners, Leonora and Leitrim, speak perfect English (I am very impressed) so we communicated easily ☺️ Very peaceful surroundings, best reachable by car (the closest grocery shop/bakery are in the nearby town of Gusinje). Perfect location to access Ropojana Valley and trek to Zla Kolata.

A welcoming, friendly family, who cooked us an excellent dinner and breakfast as part of the half board option - really tasty! Just off the trail to Valbona. Fantastic views in outdoor seating area. Great value for money. There was one shared bathroom (wet room style) but that wasn't a problem for us and the shower was powerful.

The owner was too polite to meet me on the road and to give me a lift to his guesthouse. I advise guests to arrange transportation in advance with them as the village is spread in the valley. Once in the village it is a pleasent place to walk as it is situated in very beautiful valley.
