The previous time, just a few days earlier, I loved everything except for when it was time to check out, when it took over 45 minutes to pay above what was quoted on Booking.com. I figured that check out should be smoother the second time around because everyone would have figured everything out. So, this time around, I met with familiar faces who were again so kind to me. Again, the room was excellent (clean, spacious, wonderful air conditioning, great shower with excellent water pressure and even hot water, comfortable bed). Breakfast was exactly the same as the previous mornings: onion and pepper omelet with bread, instant coffee, tea, juice.

Was delighted to find a large, clean garden setting with good wifi and friendly help. Pretty bungalows were comfortable and quiet. Swimming pool - large and clean. Amazing find!

Our stay at MGA Residence in Ouidah had its positives but also a few challenges. The rooms were spacious and very clean, though slightly dark due to limited natural light from smaller windows. Set within a mall complex, the property has a cozy feel, though the surrounding structure gives the plot a more enclosed atmosphere. Dining at MGA Residence is a notable experience, as the hotel has been praised for its food. The bar and restaurant are the only outdoor seating areas available, offering a relaxing atmosphere, although we did encounter some differences in the menu expectations. For example, the "grilled fillet" arrived as meat sliced on skewers and cooked differently than anticipated. The fish, however, was fresh and well-prepared, a nice highlight for seafood lovers. The breakfast setup is worth mentioning, as it’s included for only one person per room. The basic breakfast offering consists of small pieces of bread, jam, tea, and instant coffee—simple but sufficient. A key inconvenience we encountered was that the hotel did not accept credit card payments, as the machine was reportedly out for repairs. Fortunately, they accepted cash in U.S. dollars. Finally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Overall, I would recommend MGA Residence as a comfortable option in Ouidah.

Situated in Cotonou, 42 km from Ouidah Museum of History, Hotel Du Lac features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. The room was excellent and the staff really friendly and helpful.

Det 3-stjernede Tahiti Hotel ligger ud til stranden i Cotonou og har udendørs swimmingpool, have og terrasse. Ejendommen har bar samt restaurant, der serverer amerikanske retter. Great location and excellent management from the top down. Food was excellent and the staff were fantastic. AC was cold, and the shower was hot. There are electricity issues in Cotonou at the moment but quickly resolved with the use of the onsite generator. Love it when you get the basics right !

In particular, the interior design and furnishing is great (slightly bohemian but not exactly). Rooms are quite spacious and there were no issues with noise. I do not think I have ever commented on a hotel room's shower but the shower was amazing. I met the owner during check in and he was very nice and made sure that I am comfortable with my stay

Limited English but we were able to communicate our needs. Helped us with a taxi and driver who showed is around Cotonou. Very nice hotel.
