The staff is absolutely adorable! unlike the generic style of resorts where you are treated politely and nothing more, here everyone has a personality while also doing everything in their power to cater to your needs. In addition, the rooms are clean and spacious, and better yet, the resort is facing the ocean, offering a glut of breathtaking vistas to awe at.

Set in Christ Church, 1.3 km from Silver Rock, South Point Hotel offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. Breakfast was good. Varied menu and some really good options. We opted for the Caribbean breakfast for the days we were there, and this included Saltfish, Plantain, Sausage and toast. Coffee or tea. Staff were super friendly - but the service could have been a bit quicker. On a few occasions the lady who was taking orders would spend a while talking to her colleagues whilst we were waiting. She was very friendly and helpful, but the service was on the slow side. Michael on reception was very helpful when extending our stay. We initially booked in one night and ended up extended by a few more days as the resort exceeded our expectations We visited from the UK, staying 2 weeks on the island but moving between 3 resorts in different parts of the island. We started at the Wyndham Lords Sams which is on the south coats and then moved to the west coast closer to Oistins. Location-wise, taxis struggled to find our location, some got lost and most said they weren't even aware the hotel was there as it was previously a medical school. Taxis took over 20 mins to get to us each time but we were in good proximity to Oistins. The facilities at the hotel were beautiful. Everything looked and felt brand new, the overall decor of white tiles and furniture was complimented by the perfectly placed palm trees around the resort, restaurant, bar and swimming pool. Planning to visit the island again next year and will definitely be back there. Early November seems a good time - nice and quiet, just before the peak season starts. We had the pool to ourselves for the 3 days we were there.

Sugar Bay Barbados has a year-round outdoor pool and spa centre, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. George Washington Museum is 10 minutes’ walk away. The staff were exceptional and made us feel so welcome. We used the creche services daily and the Aunties there were also incredibly friendly and helpful.

Set on Worthing Beach, Coral Mist Beach Hotel offers amazing Caribbean Sea views. It offers studios with balconies, a gym and an outdoor swimming pool. The staff were very helpful and interacted with us whenever the opportunity was available. The location was excellent, right on the beach. Our room was steps away from the sand. It was in walking distance to many food options including a full service grocery store offering almost everything.

Located right on the beachfront in St Lawrence Gap, Yellow Bird Hotel offers an outdoor pool, a sun deck and a poolside restaurant and bar. Staff very helpful and friendly. Even gave my daughter a gift in the room for her birthday! Sound was not a problem and the location is great
