Hotel in Ollantaytambo
Located in Ollantaytambo, 13 miles from Bus Station, Las Qolqas EcoResort Ollantaytambo has accommodations with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We loved everything about this eco-hotel. It's a really precious find in Ollantaytambo. Unfortunately, we only stayed there for a night as this town was just an overnight stay on the way to Macchu Picchu, however, it would have been absolutely worth it if we could stay for at least 3 days more. The hotel has a very well-looked-after private territory, where each guest stays in their own private house. These houses are EXCEPTIONAL, clean, modern, stylish, and cozy. The breakfast was amazing and corresponded to what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The hotel offers pick-up and drop-off free shuttle service so we didn't have to pay for the cab. There was a welcome drink upon arrival that you could choose from at the bar (Pisco Sour is amazing...but you get carried away quickly so be careful if you have dinner planned afterwardS!) If you have time, make sure to attend their SPA facilities, it's a great way to relax in the evening and gaze at the stars. This hotel made our experience on the way to Macchu Picchu incredible. I highly recommend staying here if you are spending even one night at Ollantaytambo!

We came here twice and would definitely stay again.

Tula made our stay so much better with warm water for tea all the time to our room, best recommendations for walking around, the breakfast is really nice and she upgraded it for us since we are vegetarian. everything she did was with so much generosity. we healed in this place. Thanks so much Tula for everything. we will miss this place, already are.

Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley provides accommodations in Ollantaytambo, in the heart of the Sacred Valley. -Walking distance to town and the train station, but in a slightly secluded area. -Friendly staff. -Simple but good breakfast including avocado from their own garden. -Parking possible in the garden courtyard, though there is only space for a few cars, so you should mention that you need parking when booking. -Owner was very helpful and let us leave the car there for a night after we checked out, since we were spending the next day at Machu Picchu and were getting there by train. -Nice hot shower, but you do need to leave it running for a good five or ten mins. If it feels lukewarm, you have not left it on long enough.

Great find in quiet neighborhood. The rooms, breakfast and owners are wonderful. They let us park our motorcycles here while we went to Machu Picchu. Gladys picked herbs to make us some herbal tea when we weren’t feeling well. They have laundry service. They are helpful when it comes to tours or anything you may need. This is a great find

The location was perfect and the view from our window was amazing! You should absolutely stay here if visiting the sacred valley. Ollantaytambo is the perfect base and the town is much more relaxed. The staff at Sauce were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great every morning. Sauce actually had the best water temperature and pressure out of all of our accommodations in Peru! They also provide solid bars of shampoo and conditioner which are higher quality than what you would normally get in a hotel, and reduces plastic trash.
Absolute gem of a hotel! The staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough to help you. The hotel is modern and the room was spacious and clean with a really modern and powerful shower. The breakfast on the top floor was one of the best we have had in Peru! White linen table cloths, fresh fruit, breads and eggs made upon request and served to you at your table- a million miles from the usual buffet service served by other hotels. Absolutely recommend, a short taxi from Urubamba, Moras and Moray- perfect base for Sacred Valley stay.
The property is beautiful and suits the breathtaking scenery of the Sacred Valley but the best part of the stay was the friendly nature of the hotel owners, Danitza and Mauro. My daughter and I were treated like family while we were there, they even baked a cake for my daughter’s birthday and sang to her! The breakfast was great - especially the avocados - they grow in the garden. The beds are comfy and nothing is any trouble for Danitza and Mauro. There are friendly dogs and two turtles which we loved.
Beautiful location by the fast flowering river in the Center of the sacred valley. The hotel is set around and ancient hacienda with multiple courtyards, terraces and a museum and cinema. The gardens are perfection, the pool, lakes and island chapel all lovely. The spa is world class and the chef worthy of international recognition. And the staff……. In our experience Peruvians are the warmest and most welcoming of people and it seemed that the best of those traits were in abundance here.
First of all, Marcela (the receptionist/host) is absolutely amazing! She is super knowledgeable and helpful, she gave us many recommendation in the town and gave directions on how to get to the other towns on collectivos for a couple of soles. Thanks to Marcela, we saved a lot of money on transportation in the Sacred Valley. Also, the hotel has stunning views from the terrace/rooftop. Beds are really comfortable, the bathroom is spacious enough for a comfortable stay.
I cannot express how truly breathtaking the location is. Nestled amidst the majestic mountains, the setting is nothing short of idyllic. The tranquility and peace that surround this place make it an ideal retreat for anyone seeking a serene escape. The natural beauty of the Sacred Valley is on full display here, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. Highly recommended for those who want to immerse themselves in a picturesque and peaceful environment.
Loved everything! This is such an amazing place. For a real sacred valley experience this hotel is the perfect place to stay. First, the location is wonderful right behind the ruins, you can see them while sitting in the beautiful garden. The room was well appointed and very clean. The beds and pillows very comfortable. The manager, Alex, was superb, his hospitality made us feel at home immediately. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back in the near future.
Ollantaytambo
The host was very really helpful and friendly, she organised our transfer from Cusco to Ollantaytambo which allowed us to fully explore the important sites in the Sacred Valley on the way which was spectacular which you wouldn't see if you took the train from Cusco. The view from the top terrace in the house is unbelievable, huge mountains with Mayan rock carvings are all around you, its one of the most spectacular views from a hotel I have ever seen.
Ollantaytambo
This is the best hotel in the Sacred Valley, such a magical place! Noemi and her family are the most welcoming, helpful and kind hosts! The hotel is small and has a family vibe. Every time I was coming back, I had a feeling I was coming home. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The rooms are huge and super comfortable. The views from the hotel are incredible! I regretted booking only for 3 nights. I can't wait to visit again!
Urubamba
I travel to the Sacred Valley frequently. Well, that’s not entirely true. I travel to the Sacred Valley of Cusco all the time! I’ve stayed in just about every major hotel - including the top ranked places. Posada Tres Marias is not a luxury destination - but it easily ranks up with the very best! Clean. Dependable. Safe. Convenient. Super friendly staff. Best of all - an AMAZING price point. Do yourself a favor, stay here!
We have traveled a lot with our family of 5. This was be far the best hotel we have ever stayed at for kids. We have a 5, 3, and 1 year old and the staff and amenities were amazing. We enjoyed the trampolines, Alpacas, outdoor seating areas, flowers, and the restaurant. Food was great and I had a lot of fun doing the onsite cooking classes. Great location for exploring all of the Sacred Valley sites.
A beautiful sanctuary in the Sacred Valley. We stayed for one night after the Salkantay Trek and felt completely relaxed and taken care of. All the food was incredible, particularly breakfast, and the cocktails were delicious. The staff were very attentive. Our 'tent' was quiet, comfortable and beautifully designed, we loved sitting out in the morning with the alpaca blankets!
The hotel is exceptional. The grounds, location, comfort, and hospitality of the staff were above and beyond. We especially liked the hike to the Salineras de Maras and walking around Urubamba. The food was tasty and we even ate dinner outside near the firepit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Rio Sagrado to anyone looking to stay in the Sacred Valley.
Ollantaytambo
Fantastic location near the main area. Erica & Jamal (I think I miss spelled it) were both so helpful in helping us connect with a private tour guide/driver for Sacred Valley. They stored our luggage & the driver picked them up from the hotel & met us at the train station upon our return from Aquas Calliente & drove us to Cusco. Breakfast was good.
Ollantaytambo
Katty the hostess was very welcoming and friendly. Felt more like a homestay rather than a hostel. Highly recommend for a stay in ollantaytambo. She even gave advices on avoiding tourist traps and other recommendedations. The place was clean and well maintained Note - If you want a sacred valley tour starting from ollantaytambo for a good price check with Katty.
Urubamba
Beautiful oasis in the sacred valley. Whole hotel felt so secluded and relaxed, with beautiful grounds. Rooms were large and cosy, with fireplaces and massive bathrooms. Breakfast was lovely each morning, dinner at the hotel was really top standard and staff were lovely. Plus all the profits go to supporting the school so you feel good for staying there!
Ollantaytambo
Great location, just one block from the main plaza, 1 block from the Inca archaeological site, and 4 blocks from the train station. Hosts were really nice and attentive, helped us putting together a tailor made tour to the sacred valley with a private driver. The room is small but enough, the bathroom is outdated but with hot water and really clean.
Urubamba
I loved the unique experience of a cliff side hotel experience. It was a one in a lifetime experience everyone should try if in Cusco/ Sacred Valley area! The hot tub was an extremely nice touch to disguise the fact that you are on a cliff! employees were friendly and fun! Food was served amazingly by the porters and friendly attitude.
Ollantaytambo
My party of 5 stayed here two nights to visit Machu Picchu and tour the sacred valley. It’s an older hotel but very quaint. The river running directly behind the hotel provided white noise to sleep to. Breakfast was also very nice. I’d stay here again! It’s also close to the train station, which was helpful for our early morning train!
The staff were great. We had a couple of very minor issues which were fixed very quickly, yet they still upgraded our room to make up for it. The hotel is amazing value for money and definitely higher calibre than 3* - we stayed in the Suite with Spa bath. Tallest building and therefore the best panoramic views of Sacred Valley.
