Easy to get to after hopping off the midnight ferry from Wellington, and a text confirmed my room since it was after check in time. Heater was on, room was toasty and cozy! Only in for one night but will definitely rebook for a longer stay.

We stay here every time we come to Picton. It has location location location! It also has lovely comfortable spacious clean rooms. The breakfast is generous and delicious and the staff are always delightful.

Just 15 minutes by boat from Picton, The Portage Resort offers rooms with a private balcony or patio and features stunning views of the Marlborough Sounds.You can relax by the outdoor pool, go fishing... The hotel is under new management and I could not fault it. The staff were welcoming, attentive and super friendly. The reception and restaurant area looked newly renovated and was modern and fresh. My meal in the restaurant was very tasty. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept well. And the General Manager very kindly dropped me back to the start of the QC track in the morning. Plus the sunset view from the bar is breathtaking. Don’t be put off By the bad reviews - the new management seem to be doing a fantastic job!

The air-conditioned accommodation is 200 metres from Picton Memorial Park Beach, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free... We really enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable, quiet apartment right in the centre of town, close to bars, cafes and restaurants. Also just a short walk to the wharf from where cruises and water taxis to Marlborough Sound leave and also close to the Inter-Islander ferry terminal.

Outback on Broadway is a property located in Picton near Shelley Beach. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Was a flying stay.. arrived late .. left early. But the place is excellent. Very clean and all round good quality.

Boasting garden views, Boathouse Apartments features accommodation with patio, around 600 metres from Picton Memorial Park Beach. The house was newly renovated and just beautifully done. We had just about anything we could have wanted in the house, private parking, space for all four of us. Since we had four, we had both floors. The downstairs patio was nice, but the upstairs balcony was a dream! Perfect for sitting and enjoying the view. A shirt walk over the scenic marina bridge takes you right to the shops and restaurants. We wished we were staying more than two nights!
