Located in Tuddal, 7.2 miles from Gaustatoppen, Tuddal Høyfjellshotel provides accommodations with a fitness center, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We loved absolutely everything about this gem of a property: the location in a stunning natural environment, the adorable staff, the unique history and decor of the hotel full of collectible and heirloom furniture and, of course the wonderful dinner. Food certainly was a highlight as this is generally where Norway fails to impress us. We were served a fresh, creative, and delicious dinner in the beautiful dining room overlooking the fjell. The chef even adjusted the menu for the vegetarians among us, creating genuine new dishes for us. Wow! Again, that was unexpected as eating veg in Norway is often a challenge. Everything felt authentic and personal in this independently-run property. Dinner starts with a presentation of the history of the place by the owner, their struggles during Covid and how they overcame them. Charmingly, this introduction included the reading of a poem (sadly we don’t understand Norwegian so had to rely on the translation of the presentation afterwards). Every effort is made to be sustainable : There’s a vegetable garden, the delicious bread is baked on the premisses (we took a box of the amazing Flatbrød with us) and the lovely shop sells some local cheese, honey and other specialties including, this being Norway, sweets :) We are already dreaming of a next stay to the Tuddal Høyfjellshotel to experience more of its magic and of the stunning nature around it as our stay this time was way too short. Note to the owners: stay as you are, you are a genuine gem and the world needs more places like yours. Thank you for everything!

A charming place with spirit (furniture, fireplaces). Located in a beatiful valley, with fantastic cross-country skeeing areas around. Sweeming pool, sauna, training room… Very friendly, helpful and proactive staff.

Wonderful breakfast. Convenient location close to the ferry. Fun stuff to do in the hotel. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. spacious room. nice shower.

Located next to Sandefjord Harbor, this hotel offers free WiFi and free swimming pool access. Scandic Park Sandefjord is 10 minutes' walk from Sandefjord Train Station. Torp Airport is 4.3 mi away. The room exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was amazing also. Nice staff.

Hotel Kong Carl - Unike Hoteller is located in the coastal city of Sandefjord, 500 ft from Torget Square. It combines old world charm with modern conveniences such as free Wi-Fi. If you are a person of nostalgia as I am, you will definitely love this hotel! All the decorations reflect the old time but at the same time you can enjoy modern comfortableness. The room was beautiful with big windows, and the breakfast was superb. The small town is surprisingly beautiful with a lot of interesting shops. Had we known that earlier, we might have stayed in the hotel for one more days. Very reasonably priced for both the room and dinner.

Located in Horten, a 9-minute walk from Rørestrand Beach, RS Noatun has accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Great breakfast, very good quality. Stunning location by the water. Access to gym, washing machines and boats. Fantastic place! Highly recommended!

Tollboden Hotell - Unike Hoteller features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Kragerø. The property is non-smoking throughout and is located a 8-minute walk from Gunnarsholmen Beach.... Staff were so friendly! The orchard was great, fresh plums and apples. Very unique! Full of history! Yummy bfast. Super comfy beds! My elderly parents were given a better room where the bed wasn't so low to the ground. Thank you,
