Kind and lovely staff knows well how to build a community spirit and make a solo traveler feel welcome. The accommodation is everything you would except from a top notch hostel, but the crew and people you meet there make this much more than just a lodging by creating a fun and memorable traveling experience.
Staff was very kind and accomodating. The location was great and close to the beach. Check in and Check out was a breeze. Having stayed in Travelodge UK before they had the same facilities and furnishings.
Location was good to where we had to be for the following day and what was around. We managed to get a great meal around the corner from the travelodge, good coffee the following morning on the same street
This is the second time I stayed at Travelodge poblenou. I really like the area. So near the sea and the walk is safe and really pleasant. Shops are close by. People are friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it anytime.

- terrace. Good for clothes drying but great for sunbathing while having breakfast
- cleanliness. Kitchen, bathrooms, rooms.. everything is clean and smells like it
- Internet speed.. streaming or video calls without hiccups
- not a party lodge. You can get a proper sleep yet meet people, without being driven crazy by drunk fellow travellers arriving at 7 am drunk
The Travelodge Hotel boasts an excellent location, just a short 4-5 minute walk from the beach, making it perfect for a seaside getaway. The breakfast offered was delightful, providing good value for the quality and variety of food served.
The hotel follows the typical Travelodge - Ibis - Novotel style: no frills but very comfortable and clean.
Good breakfast selection. The staff accommodated my room request and provided with a nice clean room.
I can send you pictures. the room was a disaster, the shower had cold water. Toilet didn't work. Two single beds pushed together to make a double bed lol it's a joke.
And when i complained the staff were so rude. One lady at the front desk. I do have her name. was very rude. I am going to lodge a formal complaint which is in review. I will flag this with Trip advisor also. i am a well know traveler and have multiple reviews about me. this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in a very long time.
The space was very adequate. It has a lot of charm and character. The room was comfortable and very clean. High floor rooms have view of the city skyline. Close to cafes and restaurants as well as central to City Center. Very close to the Metro and main square. The hotel provided locked storage for our bags prior to check in (not all lodging will).
