Such a beautiful piece of the country - peaceful, pastoral - with beautiful horses grazing at your door. The attention to detail was exquisite, with each cottage uniquely decorated with family history....full of antiques & collectables. One can easily see the love & effort that Alet & her family have put into Schaftplaas. Alet is such a friendly hostess....and her love for her farm, her history & her animals is clear to see.
Such a pleasure to stay here & we will most definitely be back when we do our long roadtrip around South Africa, Namibia & Botswana. Thank you so much Alet & Alida :-)

The three bedroom Villa was spacious. Beautiful view of the sea from the Villa 3 that we stayed at and lovely flowers in bloom outside the Villa. Easy check in and out. Alarm system in place.
