This is a gem. It's older, it has character. The Host DD is a God sent woman of note! This place has a view that will reorient your life view. It's really nice, warm, friendly, authentic, real. It's best described as an antique that is used daily - it has patina and scratches that hark back to the many great experiences the many travelers who have come before and it's welcoming and clean and cozy. We Love it. DD made it more special, she really looked after us, and she and my wife connected. We count her as a friend and this beautiful place as a respite from an otherwise difficult world. It's really beautiful, peaceful, harmonious, it belongs there, nature is happy with it, it belongs.
Maybe it's a 9, but it was a 10 experience, so I stick by my score, in it's category and given the Host and the view - 10. Recommended highly.

Muizenberg is well connected to drive to Cape Town (20-30 minutes) and also to the Cape of Good Hope, or to travel both directions by train. We enjoyed the little cafés, restaurants and shops on the way to Fishhoek. It is was great to have a long beach in Muizenberg but at the time we went there we found lots of seaweed and there were some constructions going on that created unpleasant smells.

Muizenberg is a big surf area attracting many people who love being in or close to the water. It is busy and active with plenty of action on or near the water. Plenty of eating places with great coffee to go.
Not Hout Bay or Camps Bay so don't go thinking you will get fine dining and dressed up crowds. Think more bohemian and down to earth.
A great vibe if you love the ebb and flow of the ocean and surfers.

Surfers Corner specifically was a whole great vibe! A community on their own. I got to surf for the first time. People on surfers corner were friendly and open. Close enough to Checkers to buy groceries. A nice balance of food places and great places to buy swimming and surfing equipment.

Muizenberg is our favourite place in the entire world.
Muizenberg is our favourite place in the entire world. I have lived in four countries and travelled to many more. It has a charm that is unique. It’s location, how the mountain and the sea come together is stunningly beautiful. The beach has beautiful white sand. The coffee shops and restaurants are world class. The surf shops and the children learning to surf is great and special. Learning to surf will change their lives for the good. We love the Empire Cafe, Knead and many more places to eat. The old buildings that have been renovated give me great pleasure.

The local just just great. The apartment is directly at the beach. One crosses the little street and then: pop, there is the beach! Also, lots of good bars and restaurants just nearby. We chose the apartment for settling in after the flight to cape town and it was a choice not to be regretted!
Its a really nice place in Muizenberg, its close to the beach, really clean, quiet and Jenifer and Nikki will help, If you need.
Everything is well maintained and in a high standart.
I did enjoy my time in Muizenberg!
Although this is a private house, the room in which I stayed was much better than most hotel rooms. I basically had my own little house, with a view to a gorgeous garden.
It is a nice, quiet en centrally located guesthouse in Muizenberg. The double room with the separate bathroom was very spacious. Parking is also very secure.
