THE PLACE Muizenberg, hotel in Muizenberg

Featuring pool with a view and views of mountain, THE PLACE Muizenberg is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Muizenberg, 600 metres from Muizenberg Beach.

I'm tired of getting these messages which I had reviewed. The Place was awful. Paying services charge to have them want to come into the room to clean it while you are in it. Definitely not soundproofed, screaming at night first a male then females basically the same thing how did you get in here... Supposedly clean but various people walking on the roof above the pool view roomwhich they accessed with ladders. Also known vagrants accessed the property and were painting supposedly but having coffee and smoking . Noises constantly and I did review the shit place. Do not contact me again

Admiralty Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Muizenberg

Located on the water's edge of Zandvlei Lake, Admiralty Bed & Breakfast offers accommodation in Muizenberg and 5 minutes' drive from the beach.

As a last minute decision to reset after a busy week, this beautiful accommodation became such a gem to us. From communication about check in times to our eventual departure, the host and staff were friendly, organized and so gracious. Our room was spacious, warm and beautifully decorated. The communal areas were equally comfortable and the entire space filled with light and warmth.

Cape Capsules, hotel in Muizenberg

Facing the beachfront, Cape Capsules offers 3-star accommodation in Muizenberg and has a garden, shared lounge and terrace.

It was my partners birthday one of the ladies even organized a cute birthday poster on the wall, when we got there it was there and my partner loved it. We were not driving but used an uber to get to this location it is right in front of the road. We didn't even need an uber for other things the beach is right across the road, swimming pool just a few minutes away and so are the restaurants and other facilities. we had fun and still managed to take a walk at night going back to the Capsules, our room was clean they even provided a fan for extra ventilation. We hate shared bathrooms but those bathrooms changed how we look at shared bathrooms in general, they were so clean, tidy and provided all the bathroom necessities. You do pay a Cleaning fee and a deposit when you get there but that was refundable and we could still buy from their mini kitchen using the same deposit. The ladies were well mannered, provided excellent customer service. I am no swimmer but if you are looking for a reasonable place next to the beach to clear your head off this is the place.Tv room, kitchen and smoking area too it is one of those places that are small but cute and worth their price.

Muizenberg is well connected to drive to Cape Town (20-30 minutes) and also to the Cape of Good Hope, or to travel both directions by train. We enjoyed the little cafés, restaurants and shops on the way to Fishhoek. It is was great to have a long beach in Muizenberg but at the time we went there we found lots of seaweed and there were some constructions going on that created unpleasant smells.

Muizenberg is a big surf area attracting many people who love being in or close to the water. It is busy and active with plenty of action on or near the water. Plenty of eating places with great coffee to go. Not Hout Bay or Camps Bay so don't go thinking you will get fine dining and dressed up crowds. Think more bohemian and down to earth. A great vibe if you love the ebb and flow of the ocean and surfers.

Surfers Corner specifically was a whole great vibe! A community on their own. I got to surf for the first time. People on surfers corner were friendly and open. Close enough to Checkers to buy groceries. A nice balance of food places and great places to buy swimming and surfing equipment.

Muizenberg is our favourite place in the entire world.

Muizenberg is our favourite place in the entire world. I have lived in four countries and travelled to many more. It has a charm that is unique. It’s location, how the mountain and the sea come together is stunningly beautiful. The beach has beautiful white sand. The coffee shops and restaurants are world class. The surf shops and the children learning to surf is great and special. Learning to surf will change their lives for the good. We love the Empire Cafe, Knead and many more places to eat. The old buildings that have been renovated give me great pleasure.

Beautiful apartment , sea facing, had everything we needed and very clean. We can sit in the kitchen and see the surfers in the sea .Right on the beach . All the movie channels were available. There are supermarkets , a bottle store and a checkers , a block away, which made it very convenient. There are water slides, putt, putt and public swimming pools , a few minutes away by foot. The great thing was that we didnt need to rent a car. For longer trips we used uber . I would reccomend this unit without hesitation.

the location is the best - having lived in Muizenberg for years, staying at the beachfront in Surfer's corner with my parents and new baby was a real treat... and a time we will never forget.. filled with the sound of the ocean, laughter on the beach, and the most amazing view a person can have.

The location was good. Walking distance from the Muizenberg beach. I really enjoyed the fact that I was with my family, they helped me to partially forget all the dog hair that was everywhere.
