We attended a wedding at Bell Amour and when looking for accommodation, Monkey Thorn stood out and it did not disappoint (only 15 minutes away). The cottage was well looked after, clean and comfortable. The arrival Sherry, droewors and chocolates were a nice touch. We braaied on the first night and the kitchen facilities were great and we had everything we needed. We had our own private pool, our own private patio and it was very quiet and peaceful. Netflix, Amazon Prime and Dstv are available in the unit. Enough plug points in the bedroom. Situated in a safe and security controlled estate and we had no issue coming in and out (multiple times) and late at night. Enough safe parking available. Monica is lovely and an excellent host and Beeno the dog is very friendly and cute.

The photos don't do this properly justice. It is set in a beautiful big garden with a huge pool. Very peaceful and quiet. The furnishings are functional but well thought out. The beds comfortable and the bathroom neat with a nice shower. Solar powered and borehole fed. The stove is gas. Security is good.
Bonus are two playful friendly border collies who love balls.
