I loved the staff more than anything else, especially the restaurant staff. Extremely friendly, made us feel at home. The security from the entrance was also exceptional, I loved the way they made sure to check who was driving in and out by scanning & checking licenses. Our experience of Nelspruit is great, the people are friendly, it's a beautiful town and the Innibos concert was way more than what we expected. We will defenitely be back again for this sometime. Easy to get around .

Even if travelling for business, you should take time to relax and explore some of the thousands of places one can visit - all within a 50km radius from the city. From game drives, cave exploration, nature scenery, restaurants, historical places - some dating back more than a thousand years, geological formations, nature sports, hiking, horse riding, just name it and you can find it in this area. We booked to stay in Nelspruit because our group boking at Sanbonani was only due to start in 3 days. We wanted to take FlySafair to Nelspruit as it was cheaper to do this and stay in Nelspruit for 3 days than it was to fly with the next cheapest airline and go straight to Sanbonani. FlySafAir only flies from Cape Town to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport twice a week, hence the decision to stay in Nelspruit.

BUT MY STAY AT NELSPRUIT MERCURE HOTEL WAS A DISAPPOINTMENT AND COMPLETE DISSASTER.
NO PROPER WI - FI ,STREETS AROUND PREMISES NOISY EARLY MORNING TILL LATE AT NIGHT , DOORS SQUEECKING ,LOW OR NO WAYER PRESSURE AT TIMES ,FURNITURE OUTDATED ESPECIALLY THE TV AND AIRCON , NO PROPER MAINTENANCE AND THE PRICE PER ROOM PER NIGHT NOT WORTH IT - BETTER OPTIONS AVAILABLE AT A LOWER PRICE AND BETTER LOCATION.A STOVE IN THE ROOM BUT NO COOKING POTS AND PANS AND PROPER CUTLERY.PLENTY OF DEFECTS ALL AROUND.WILL DEFINITELY NOT EVEN CONSIDER TO STAY THERE EVER AGAIN.

What a superb surprise. Stunning boutique hotel just on edge of Nelspruit / Mbombela. Really gorgeous and spacious downstairs room with lovely views over garden and pool.
Restaurant was great for both dinner and breakfast and staff were warm and welcoming. A pity we only stayed one night but will definitely come back.
Everything about it was amazing. It felt like you were in luxury. Everything you needed was in the room. Had a fab night sleep. The property gardens are well kept. I booked this very last min and am so happy I did. Would stay again next time I’m in town. Highly recommended😊😊
The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and it had all the amenities required in a self catering accommodation. Wifi was good. Dstv was great. Parking was perfect. It had a braai stand. Towels were very clean.
