I loved it but because I just came for few days I couldn't visit many places.All I can say I underestimated it before I came down but I learned very early that there was not much difference from Bloemfontein and Cape Town where I grew up and still reside.

What a friendly welcome from the security to the hotel it was raining in Bloemfontein that Friday when we arrive employees where already waiting for us outside with the ambrellers I was with my baby Nd husband we didn't even get wet we check in the front desk lady was welcoming show us to our room show us our TV and our coffe maker nd fridge she added if we need assistance we should call breakfast was well made hot food clean boutique hotel excellent service.

It is a beautiful city that I would recommend that people must come see, there’s a hill whereby you get to see the view of Bloem city, there’s also a meuseaum whereby we went to see all the artistic views.

I don't have much to tell as it was a very short stay because we were actually driving to York ford to attend a funeral, we decided to book while we were already on the road on our way to York Ford. but we are planning another trip to Bloemfontein during the holidays. The city looked great, and the people are friendly.

Since I saw this place of booking.com I knew we were going to enjoy every moment at Summer Palace. Christian was the most amazing hosts I have ever came across, he even arranged for massages to be done for us at the guest house. This place deserves more then 10 out of 10, Christian really has something good going for. I am looking forward to going back to Bloemfontein and staying at Summer Palace, and I will recommend this place to anybody, anytime.

Extremely friendly staff that was willing to help with all out needs, we're able to have him on speed dual if necessary (although definitely wasn't needed)
The guest house is in an amazing location where you feel safe and can relax after a loooong travel or even if you're visiting in Bloemfontein. There are quite a few stores and restaurants around the area which made it quite pleasant not having to drive far and look around
The gardens and surrounds of Cherry Lane were beautiful and well maintained. The room was comfortable, with modern furnishings and everything you need for self catering. It was so peaceful and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially with our last minute booking. Would definitely recommend as a quiet place to stay close to Bloemfontein.
Booked just to sleep and travel on. But what a surprise. Complete estate ... And looking good and well maintained. Rooms were great, nice furniture, good bathroom, large. As we didnt like bloemfontein that much (as expected, just needed to stop over on our way to capetown), we decided to have dinner at the hotel. What a surprise!
It was our second time staying at Stonehill Villa and will never stay at any other place in Bloemfontein. The rooms are nice and spacious, with self catering facilities. The hostess that welcomed us and the morning staff were extremely friendly and helpful!
