I concur with the other reviews that Debbie is an amazing host. Cottage was short of nothing. We had a power outage but we were still able to take a hot shower, there were rechargeable lights, gas stove, braai and a fireplace.

It's a beautiful farm, and we stayed in a well-equipped, well-maintained cottage. There is a fireplace indoors and ample wood supplied. The kitchen is well-appointed with a stove that accomodates gas and electricity, fairly large fridge and a microwave. The beds were comfortable, with extra blankets provided. All very clean and comfortable.
There is a walking trail that leads down to the river, where you will meet buck and some very friendly donkeys. It is situated close enough to amenities and attractions (Nelson Mandela Capture Site, Piggly Wiggly, restaurants and shops) to be convenient, but still feels remote and peaceful.
