The hotel is very beautiful, in a historical location. Lots of bars and restaurants in the area. 3 min walk from the hop on. /hop off buss station. It's full of charm and history. The inside patio was also gorgeus! Perfect for breaksfast or if you just came back from a day of sightseeing. If you are looking for a tour, please ask at the reception for them to organize a tour with Domingo. An amazing human and a very knowleadgeble tour guide. We had an amazing day with him, going to cape point and boulders beach!

Watch out for muggers and thieves.
Watch out for muggers and thieves. We were approached when we were trying to book an Uber and they told us a tale about no Ubers collect where we were but as they were security they would show us where was safe and we could get an Uber for there. They were criminals working a scam to take you somewhere to relieve you of your phone, credit cards and money - beware.

When Long Street is busy, it is actually quite tolerable, but on quiet days, there are just the prostitutes, beggars and drug dealers. It doesn't feel particularly unsafe (to an adult male), but it is stressful and unpleasant to walk along.
That it did not have a TV to distract from enjoying quiet time to my thoughts. Enjoyed the outdoor noise from Long Street. The welcome was warm and pleasant and very friendly people. It is an intimate boutique hotel.
Amazing location adjacent to major attractions in the Gardens and the shops and nightlife on Kloof and Long streets. Very receptive hosts. Large windows with a great mountain view. In-unit dish and clothes washers.
The location was excellent. It is located within walking distance to a lot of essential outlets such as a supermarket. Many nice restaurants around (including the spectacular restaurant in the hotel). Access to cabs at your door step. Night life/bars around within walking distance. Long street is ALSO within a comfortable walking distance 😀

The location of the hotel is excellent at the Long Street which is also host to St. George’s Open Air Mall. The rooms were clean, offering a decent view of the area & the staff were friendly. The property was close to all the nearby attractions.
