Everything pertaining to the property was 💯... I had sent a message to the property enquiring about food, we travel from afar and needed dinner.. the hostess had not responded, we arrived late the night and were hungry but the kitchen was closed .. the hostess gave us biscuits for dinner one box shared amongst 7 people.. I do believe something could have been organized in the kitchen but she just was not keen.. I believe one should be more hospitable to one's guests.. going to bed hungry especially as I'm diabetic would plunge my sugar levels.. if you have your own food then the property is excellent.. for the price plus breakfast then absolutely worth it.

The property is in a good location within walking distance of many shops and the Howick falls. The rooms was a spacious twin bed. (There are rooms of different sizes) Beds were comfortable and it is convenient to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Limited coffee tea etc supplied but more available on request. In future we would take beverages to suit our own needs. Shower was a comfortable size and good shower head.
Lovely unit, that mostly had everything we needed for the weekend we stayed there. The gas stove is a winner during loadshedding. The village of Howick really has alot to offer, the Howick Falls, Karkloof Market on the weekend and lovely coffee shops (Bluebird is excellent) and some lovely shops as well. Very close to Midmar dam, Piggly Wiggly as well as Nottingham road.
