A Millionaire's playground, Miami Beach is all about sun, sea and sand. Popular as a spring break destination, its miles of pristine sands shelve gently into the turquoise Atlantic Ocean.
Lining the beach are tall palm trees and the promenade, famous for the beautiful people that go rollerblading by. Add to this a warm, subtropical climate and you can see why many celebrities have chosen to set up home in Miami Beach.
You might even spot some of them shopping in the designer boutiques along Lincoln Road. And if your budget doesn’t quite stretch that far, there’s still a great range of shops with more moderate prices, including Aventura Mall and CocoWalk.
The city also has its fair share of culture, including the Art Deco District, which houses the world’s largest collection of Art Deco architecture, including some of the brightly-lit Miami Beach hotels on Ocean Drive.
Comprising a series of islands just across Biscayne Bay from Miami (the route you take from Miami Airport), this city has a heavy Latin American influence, which is evident in the cuisine and fantastic nightlife. Whether you choose Miami Beach accommodations in the North Beach, Mid Beach or South Beach areas, a Cuba Libre - rum and coke - is never far away.

Miami Beach is a combination of nightlife, cafes and the beautiful Caribbean. If you want to be 'in the mix' South Beach is for you. If you want to relax, just head to the sand. We stayed in an apartment. There plenty of grocery stores to supply what is needed for breakfast and snacks. And when you are ready to shop or see more of Miami, you have a 15-minute drive to the malls, the Grove or other spots.

The beach was beautiful and there were a couple of restaurants that you can walk to to have dinner. The food was great at the Tavern and it was nice that the hotel had bike rentals for free for the guests. Also, it was easy to navigate around Miami from the hotel. The only thing I did not like is paying for parking at the hotel.

HUGELY expensive, over £80 in a pub for 2 sandwiches, shared fries and 2 drinks. Nothing special or fancy. Drinks and meals out very verycostly. South Beach was quite stony until you got a way out into the water, surprisingly. Didn't visit any others as there only 2 days. Also took 2 hours to get through passport control at airport, just 2 officers. Luggage had been taken off beltby then ^ wheels broken off new luggage. Witnessed staff literally hurling luggage so that it missed belt completely skidding across floor

It was a great experience, I enjoyed the beach - took a swim most mornings. I'm not sure about public transport, but renting a car is affordable and easier to find. But should be aware that it's costly! - so many taxes. I hate that the tax is not included and applied until the completion of purchases.

Love how nice it is and how nice people are there.
Love how nice it is and how nice people are there. Though there's a lot of homeless people, especially north. It seems to be a bit ghetto and it's sad because I would have loved to take my kids here. Unfortunately not the best place for families. I would recommend somewhere else in Florida, not Miami. I love how friendly the people are though, especially because I traveled alone. No one was overstepping boundaries, really respectfully honest. My only reason I probably won't make it back is how expensive everything is here, especially when buying food. I tried mom and pop shops and they were still more expensive than where I'm from. No thanks.

EXPENSIVE. I said expensive, no good!

To know and visit once, is ok… to come back, think twice
Relationship in price-quality, Mexico Wins by far!
The beach can be full of seaweed
Best possible location for Miami Beach in the Art Decor area
Comes to life in the evenings
The in-house restaurant is a seafood restaurant, pricey but worth its cost.
Plenty of other restaurants at 10 minutes walking
The multilevel car park 1 block away costs £20 /day but 5 minutes walking to the hotel
Julio in the front desk is always helpful and so is the Maître d'hôtel.
In short - the hotel to book in Miami if you are up and around during the daytime and wish to soak in the vibrant atmosphere in the nighttime.
Mid-beach location far from vibrating south beach buzz. Easily accessible with Bus 150 (airport express). Free Beach trolley bus stop in front of the hotel. Inexpensive restaurants, grocery minimarkets, and Walgreens are just within walking distance. The best thing is that the beach is just 2 blocks from the hotel!!! Fancy room interior! Free bikes to ride!
Direct ocean access, clean and quiet compared to 99% of South Miami Beach hotels. No insects in the room, no electricity issues, no hot water issues, which is also quite rare for this price in South Miami Beach.
TLDR: awesome price/value for this specific location full of run-down properties with rude management.
Excellent hotel and great value for money option. Relatively close to South Beach and also close to the main city if you're more into exploring that side of Miami. Rooms we're big enough, a bit basic, but everything you can expect for this price category. Overall very good option for staying in Miami Beach
