The breakfast was danish/muffins, yogurt and fruit. Nice to have a snack on the way to a morning walk on the beach. We still needed to go out to breakfast.

This ship is amazing!!!! Our grandson loved it!
This ship is amazing!!!! Our grandson loved it! Very kid friendly and all of the veterans and auxiliary crew made it so much nicer. We saw the mess hall, chapel, helicopters, planes and got to really see what it's like to live on one of these ships. I am proud to say that my grandson earned his wings and he was so proud! Thanks to everyone aboard!

Wonderfully maintained, historic, naval vessel.
Wonderfully maintained, historic, naval vessel. A "wow wee" experience the first time you go on board. A 10+ if you at all like military history, the navy, or just the chance to board something so huge (and complex).

Hubby was stationed on the Midway, so visiting the ship is always a high-point of our visits to San Diego. To be able to tour so much of the ship from the bridge to crew quarters, post office, dentist, mess hall, flight deck, etc. was great. So many memories came back to life!

This place is a must if you like planes and engineering. This ship is just massive!. I enjoyed visiting all its "allowed" spaces but also its impressive presence from within and from outside view.

This is like a living museum.
This is like a living museum. It really shows the life of the ship with recordings and pilots on deck who give explanations of how the landing and taking off of jets worked.
A real gem for anyone interested in the ship life and history of the
Navy aviation on board. It was part of the Top Gun era.
It has light snacks gift shop on board. Come early to get the best parking and tours with smaller lines in the summer and holidays.
I have gone there 3 times and learn many new things each trip.
They are constantly opening new areas.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Hayan notified us that our room was ready and followed up to see how our stay was going. Our room was spacious, clean, and I loved the couch. I really loved the personalized greeting on the TV screen; I've never experienced that before and it was a very nice touch! :) The location is excellent and we walked to the USS Midway Museum and Waterfront Park for the SoCal Tacofest.
