Booked a Staypineapple again as we enjoyed our time at the University District hotel earlier in our trip. The location of the Maxwell is superb as it's a short walk of the Space Needle and MoPOP and you can also catch the monorail nearby to Pikes Place market. Our room was the usual high standard and staff friendly and welcoming. This hotel also benefits from having a bar and very good restaurant, the food was excellent. We will definitely book Staypineapple again.

Literally right across from Pikes Market, can’t beat the location. Valet parking is available if you have a car. I loved the room, the layout, the size, and the view. The hotel has a charm to it with lights strung across the courtyard. We arrived early and the desk let us check in early, which was wonderful. Staff was very kind. I would definitely stay here again.

It's expensive to go up (at midday it costs $75 for 2 tickets) and while it's a nice view, it's just a nice view! There are pictures you can get at no extra charge and there is an extensive gift shop at the bottom that has souvenirs for everybody. All in all, I'd have skipped it if I'd known then what I know now.

The view from the top is beautiful with a wide view of the Sound and the city. The restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is excellent and the scenery cannot be beaten. The water traffic is engrossing as you watch the ferries and other water traffic coming and going. One of my favorite places to go when in the city.

Google coupons online.
Google coupons online. There are good deals with some cafes and other places so you'll be able to buy tickets cheaper.
And there is a huge line from the entrance to the elevators so if you wanna see the sunset you should buy tickets to enter a place at least one hour beforehand.

The staff were friendly and the location very central which was convenient. I loved how close Pike Place was and it was only a half hour walk to the Space Needle or Capitol Hill. The coffee in the lobby was nice and I liked that there was a mini-fridge in the room. If you're on a budget, it is a decent place to stay as other hotels in the area are quite expensive. It is still pricey but that's just downtown Seattle for ya.
The staff was wonderful, and even was able to accommodate me arriving a little early on the day of check-in. The hotel is centrally located, giving easy access to downtown Seattle and the convention center. It is also right next to the Space Needle, and some of the rooms even have a great view of it.

Lovely hotel in a great location for visiting Seattle.
Very friendly staff.
We borrowed umbrellas from reception for our walk around the city.
Shops and restaurants close by.
Nice roof terrace with views of the bay and the space needle.
Clean and comfortable room.
Perfect location in the heart of Seattle—a few minutes from Pike Place Market. Walking distance to Space Needle, MoPop, Target, Convention Center, Science Center, IMAX and many other great spots, including Seattle Aquarium, coast and piers. Perfect stay for 2-4 persons with separate bedroom and bathroom and couch in the living room. Well-equipped kitchen allows for simple meals. Friendly staff is at your service 9am-4pm, useful and helpful. Check-in is really easy, you have codes to main door and apartment door delivered to your phone.
Clean bed and breakfast hotel. Good breakfast options and plenty of it. Also possible to walk to Seattle’s Space Needle. However, streetcar and bus routes are right outside the entrance
Staff were super friendly and helpful. Hotel was close by to a good restaurant, Cafe, and bar. There was also a supermarket around the corner. Walking to the space needle is also a short walk.
A modern, slick and contemporary feel. The room we had was high up on a corner with a good view of the Space Needle. The room was massive and as soon as you walked in you got that WOW feeling. Felt like a Seattle apartment rather than a hotel room.

For me part of sightseeing includes checking out the crowds and the local people and how they interact among themselves and visitors. Sightseeing is more than just looking at the prairies in Kansas or beautiful Black Hill of South Dakota, Yellowstone River running through Wyoming and Montana, or the forest and coastline in Oregon or even the Cactus Forest we saw in Arizona. It also about checking out the people in crowded streets of downtown Seattle, Vancouver, Victoria, and San Francisco or the people who or at the other table is restaurants in Newport, Oregon or San Diego California or the waiters and waitresses who served us in Oklahoma City, Seattle, Vancouver, Oakland and El Paso. There is a lot to see on the wonderful continent and my wife and I take try to take in all the sights; the natural environment, the man-made structures such as the Space Needle in Seattle, the monuments and museums and even the people.
