Amazing location right on the ocean. Staff were so friendly & helpful. As it was my 60th birthday celebration they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a Pacific View Suite, which was stunning. They also sent a birthday cake and chilled bubbly to the suite as a birthday treat. The meals were all delicious and the level of service exceptional. This hotel thinks of every detail to make the guests feel welcome & appreciated.

If there is one place that I would recommend staying at in Venice, it's Stay Open. Dave is an absolute legend and runs an incredible hostel. It's described as a hostel, but it genuinely feels like a hotel. The space is magnificent and is fitted with everything you could possibly need. Loads of room to chill and be by yourself (if needed). There's never more than 10 or 11 other people staying, so it never feels crowded. I met some awesome people there. The location itself is unbeatable as well, because it is right on the Venice Boardwalk. The pods are super comfortable and fitted with power supply, dimmable lights and shelves. My 6'4" frame didn't quite fit lengthwise, but that wasn't all that of an issue. They're super comfy.
If you come by car, there is paid (underground & overnight) parking available, pretty much next door, but it costs a fair penny. That said, finding overnight and secure parking in Venice is hard and often costly anyway.

Wow the staff here were great! They were all so friendly and also super helpful with getting us familiar with the area.
The room was lovely, clean and spacious, with all the facilities you needed. We didn't use the pool or the beach but they hotel has amenities you could use for these if you wished. We were able to pay extra for late check out, the first hour was free, then we paid $75 for a further 2 hours. from experience this is probably about right!
