From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like special guests. We were heartedly welcomed; the spa, parking, and dining facilities were explained; and the room location was pinpointed. Our room more than met our expectations- we had been traveling for three weeks-staying at highly rated hotels and the Sterling Inn and Spa was by far the nicest one we stayed. I highly recommend it- nice furnishings, special touches (candles and rose petals), a professional and kind staff, extra clean rooms, and a lovely meal.

Casino sorry of. Higher returns at other casinos. The two Connecticut casinos put this place to shame. Very few servers for drinks while playing and I don't drink alcohol so just needed a coke.

It was easy to walk across to the Canada side.
It was easy to walk across to the Canada side. Other reviewers had mentioned needing 4 quarters for the toll to return to the USA. Was glad we knew that. Quick and easy crossing borders. Just needed passports, and answer a couple of questions.

Great location, easy access to beautiful walking paths to Niagara Falls State Park & Rainbow Bridge. Easy walking to good restaurants like Wakey Wakey Eggs & Bakey & Red Coach Inn. Property had nice deck areas. Every staff member was friendly & helpful especially Sarah who was working when we checked in on Sept 11 evening & most of our stay. The warm chocolate chip cookies were the Best!!!
An historic hotel in a convenient location within walking distance to the American Falls, a Goat Island, and the Canadian Falls (just walk across the Rainbow Bridge with your passports). Very quiet. Included free parking and breakfast (unfortunately we had to leave for the airport before breakfast was served).
Bed very comfortable. Air conditioner worked really well! Lots of towels in bathroom. Shower great!

The hotel is quiet and very pretty. The bed and pillows were amazing, and I am hard to please in this area. We had a room "with a view", and it was phenomenal. Nightly fireworks were directly across from our room, several blocks away. There is a shuttle that takes those staying at the hotel to the falls. The hotel is within walking distance to the Rainbow Bridge and falls. When we asked for extra coffee or towels, they were immediately brought to us. Checkout was a breeze as well
We love that it was close to everything. The falls, the bridge, restaurants, the aquarium, the casino if you wanted to do that... everything is within walking distance. You can see the mist coming up from the American Falls, the Rainbow Bridge. The hotel was very clean and the staff was amazing. Beds were very comfortable. We arrived a day earlier than we were supposed to.. by deciding to drive the whole way from VA. They let us get our room another night. Great experience.
Location is very good. Right by the rainbow bridge and 5 min walk from park. Restaurants and shops around the corner. Breakfast is tasty and various. Overall I liked the hotel very much.
