They charge you even if you aren't riding any of the rides and only going to help chaperone several children in our family. I guess if you ride the rides it would be okay but think everything is very overpriced!

Check what time they open and park in the lot next to fish tales, get the day pass and have fun; trying to pay for individual rides is expensive (even for a toddler on the carousel and little kid rides, the day pass is worth it). I recommend eating at fish tales on the way out and getting your parking validated for the day.

The view off the front deck at night was beautiful! The lights of pleasure pier were close enough to be seen clearly, but it was far enough away the noise and traffic was not an issue.
Great location, clean, and very cold with AC hard to find that on Galveston Island. Rose has great communication. Was willing to do whatever we needed. Once we arrived we just didn't need anything! Perfect location close to everything. 5 min from the Strand, also can walk to restaurants and Pleasure Pier. House is olde4 but VERY well maintained and very clean. Rooms set up for excellent privacy if somebody wants it, not on top of each other.
Very clean and great location close to pleasure pier, shower outside in the back to rinse off after a day at the beach and washer and dryer came in handy throughout the trip
This was my first time to experience a beach and the surroundings. This was an easy process and the property was clean, comfortable, close enough to walk to beach, park, skate park, and Pleasure Pier. My family definitely had a great experience!!!!

Location is just far enough down the Seawall to be out of the Pleasure Pier area craziness/congestion. Yet, all of the best restaurants, attractions, etc. are only minutes away.
Even on the busiest days the beach remains pleasant & civilized!
This hotel is located in a great location in Galveston. Across from beach. 30 minute walk to Pleasure Pier and close to shopping and short drive to all attractions. Great parking.
Location was the best. It was right across the street from the pleasure pier and all the attractions were very close. It was very close to the seawall, but the rooms should face the ocean my opinion the hotel was hot in general.
We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. We enjoyed the view of the beach from our room. The hotel is in a good location to walk to nearby restaurants and Pleasure Pier.
