Location! Bar upstairs and down, great view. Good communication by staff treated well by the Hyatt property as they rectified their standard, not being up to their typical level with credits and upgrades, this had to come from Hyatt and not from the staff on site

One of the most stunning, historic and inviting cities in the US. The food scene is incredible with so many options, but a true eye towards freshness and quality. Perfect size for walking and exploring. Highly recommend!

What a great place to visit to get away from the winter...

What a great place to visit to get away from the winter weather in the north! The architecture is beautiful and the history is amazing. We learned so much about the horrors of slavery and the civil war while visiting. 3 nights was not enough to see the museums. We could have spent a week in this city. Lovely place with old world charm.

Interesting city, great food lots of history. Was a bit cold for those of us who live way south of here! But all things considered great place. The architecture is breathtaking and ever so beautiful. Would like to return during the holiday season.

The old section of Charleston is a really gem.

The old section of Charleston is a really gem. Block after block of well maintain historic building. Probably one of the best preserved historic districts in the country and well worth a morning or afternoon of exploring. Other than that we didn't find Charleston a particular attractive or interesting city.

Been to Charleston many times before.

Been to Charleston many times before. The divisive nature of the prominent rich compared to the oppression of slaves, presented at the 2 places we went, are being shown differently than when we first started going to Charleston in 2018. More emphasis was placed on the suffering and challenges of the slaves at the Aiken-Rhett House, but, the Nathaiel Russell House construction of those stairs was amazing. Considering the amount of slaves they had, surely the work fell on them, more emphasis on the granduer of the house there than the burden on the slaves. On a side note, the PARKING SITUATION was awful. The meter was not working properly, kept us totally frustrated. Worried the whole time about being getting fined. Then, when at the Aiken-Rhett House Museum, we had one hour before being ticketed, the tour took more than an hour, so, again worried, we rushed thru that. More emphasis or highlights on locations of parking garages should be a part of visiting Charleston.
