Location was within walking distance of central austin. Staff very efficient and friendly. Loved how safe the hotel was. Also a variety of thrift shops, worth checking out is Stardust Vintage for eclectic finds and helpful staff. You can also find Shiny Things for Shiny People on Lamar for a crazy assortment of crystals and more cool items.
If you need a refreshing drink Juiceland is everywhere but check the original Juiceland on Barton Springs Road, then down the way is Zilker Park and Zilker Botanical Gardens.

Austin is a fun place.
Austin is a fun place. You can find great food, amazing boutiques, and historical venues. Torchys Tacos are “damn good”….Franklin’s Barbecue is smoking. I find getting around Austin is a little bit of a challenge. My family really enjoyed swimming at Barton Springs.

Really fun city, plenty to do. Everyone is very nice. Found it was helpful to ask some locals where the 30 year olds hangout & got some great recommendations which proved to be really good. Barton Springs Pool is a must in the summer heat for something unique.

Nights are great music everywhere the city is very green and has a big life by the Colorado river. the Capitol the UT and the Blanton Museums are very interesting places to visit , If you go to the suburbs you ll see plenty of beautiful manors and cliffs facing the river with exceptional views and there are a couple of Vineyards to enjoy
Gastronomic offer is varied and much cheaper than a lot of other cities in the US

We encountered a heat wave 36C av each day - so visited places with a/c & had to keep hydrated. Sidewalks were trip hazards as uneven, poorly maintained.
Great variety of food from restaurants, food trucks & plenty of music & entertainment. City has great ambience & good coffee!

This Motel is terrible.
This Motel is terrible. The price is very tempting, but big black roaches in the washroom and room as well.
Staying in this motel is my worst experience for my whole life.

The reception staff were truly delightful and very helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the hotel is in a good location for both the airport and downtown. The breakfast/dining area was pleasant and clean, overlooking the pool. There was a small but good choice of breakfast options including healthy ones.
I just needed a good, clean place to rest while in town for the weekend. This hotel was great: friendly staff, clean rooms, reasonably priced. Location-wise, there is not much in walking distance, but it was easy enough by Uber to get to downtown or other places we needed to go.
A comfortable spot in a location excellent for accessing by foot all the action on 6th Street, both in East Austin and downtown. Easy to gain entry to the place, and the room was clean and well-equipped.

Location is quite a bit north of downtown Austin (hence price was less).
