The location was wonderful. I was attending Newport Folk and it was an easy walk to the water taxi. Easy walk to Bellevue and to Thames Street. I couldn’t believe how quiet it was considering the location. My bed was comfortable. Eating breakfast made by Denice on her relaxing porch overlooking her garden was heavenly. I didn’t want to leave.

Wonderful staff. Fantastic location ——tucked away on a quiet street yet within easy walk to everything. Loved the small hotel feel, the gracious extras (breakfast, welcome goody bag, afternoon sangria) and the rooftop deck.

The finishes throughout the room and location can't be beat. The bedding was exquisite, the bathroom products were excellent, and the breakfast was a lovely offering. Overall, this is a wonderful option if you want to stay close to town in Newport and want a new, luxury stay!

Classical old American Inn with very much love to detail and a clean room. The location directly kn the city centre and a short walk away from the ferry terminal was great and the breakfast had a huge variety to choose from. Much more than the usual complimentary breakfast you get elsewhere. We could leave our bags after check-in to further explore the neighborhood. Unfortunately we couldn’t stay until the included tea time.
