住宿地點離南投站與家樂福商場很近，跨縣市交通很方便，可以深入埔里、日月潭，或前往台中、彰化。 基本上房間算是乾淨清潔，價格也不貴，南投市區並非觀光客會長期停留的地點，多半是轉進站，但若有需要在南投市區待上一晚，算是可以考慮的住宿地點。
