Take a walk around the backsteets of Thongsala and this tourist town soon becomes a working Thai centre. After three separate visits to Koh Phangan, w've come to love Thongsala. We stay at Pink Homes when we land here, with their great value rooms, set back from the street, and their fab iced coffee, served in the cool airy cafe opposite. Thongsala is a place that grows on you. The food at the food market is great, cheap and makes for a fun night out. Its a great place to base yourself initially before heading off into the island. An ideal place to explore from.

Clean and comfortable rooms very centrally located in Thong Sala, 5 mins walk to pier but still surprisingly in a very quiet area. Rooms have a large bed, fridge, full length mirror, lamp and block out curtains. No kettle, but there is free hot water and coffee near the reception. Shared bathroom is very clean and has toiletries to use. Staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.
It was a spacious room. There were a lot of plants outside. It is very well located between Thong Sala and Srithanu. There is the best place for breakfast because of the views right around the corner at Ocean Vibes. Also the woman who runs the place is so sweet.
Very stylish hotel. The location is top - close to everything in Thong Sala. Great breakfast - tasty and beautiful presentation of dishes. Very cute staff, especially in the restaurant :) The territory of the hotel is just amazing - so green and peaceful. The beach is also beautiful with all those palms around and lights in the evening time.
Sunset views and lovely surroundings. Only kayak was available on resort 1-6pm for good price. Book taxi through the total if required as 50 baht per person. Price at pier to hotel is 150 baht if you do not negotiate. Food was lovely and great price. A short walk to main road or 10-20 minutes easy walk to main Thong Sala area or 5 minutes by scooter/car.
Very helpful and communicative staff, convenient location near ferry dock and Thong Sala restaurants and bars, downstairs hotel cafe, very comfortable bed, nice and spacious bathroom/shower.
Great beach huts, rustic yes but that adds to the charm. It’s like Thailand used to be. Lovely quiet beach, prefect sunsets from the hammocks and tree swings. One of my favourite places ever.
Nopp the owner is so nice and will help you in anyway that he can. He has mopeds available at a good price, all reliable and looked after well. He can even book boat tickets etc.

Very nice hostel in the middle of Thong Sala, close to the night market and pier. 7/11 and big grocery store Big C really close. You can store your food in the refrigerator and make yourself tea/coffee, but since there are lots of restaurants near by, you have that covered. It was nice an quiet, beds were comfortable, AC was working nicely, towels were provided. I really enjoyed my time there and would go back :)
Nice location at a very Nice Beach and it was very near to the city Thong Sala (walking distance). Small bungalow located in a Nice garden close to the Beach. This bungalow was okay, but a little bit of older standard (bathroom)

I had an incredible stay with a hotel at the foot of the beach as well as the restaurant and not far from thong sala and haad rin for fullmoon. The tennis court made available my license to be able to replay a sport that I really like with a professional who allowed me to learn the basics. The team is really nice and perfect. I recommend this hotel!!
