We really enjoyed the sustainability and the decor. The breakfast range was truly impressive and the staff working in the restaurant were very helpful and efficient.
The bedrooms were cosy with clever lighting (natural and artificial), genuinely comfortable beds and great views. The fire pit was a welcoming touch as was the wine tasting event.
Prior to our arrival, I emailed the hotel with questions and queries- all of which were very efficiently and promptly responded to.

EXCELLENT LOCATION - less than 10 minutes walk from lake in Ribčev Laz.
Travellers who stay in lake side accommodation have to endure the daily bell ringing at John The Baptist Church at seven o'clock each morning. At Hotel Gasperin we were far enough away not to be disturbed, but not too far away... :-)

After one year we've returned and everything was as good as the last time. This time we booked a suite on the second floor (Suite with Mountain View).
The small hotel is in a beautiful surrounding on the east end of the Bohinj lake, just a few minutes walking distance from the lake itself. If is a very nice building with smaller, but very cozy rooms.
Upon arrival we had to call the contact number placed on the office door, since it does not offer a permanent reception, but the owner was there is a minute.
As mentioned, the rooms are rather small but very nice, quite well equipped and clean.
What surprised us most is the breakfast - it is a surprisingly good selection and even on a longer stay you do not feel of having the same meal over and over again.
The staff is very nice and helpful, we have immediately received good and interesting tips for activities, places to eat etc..
You can park your car right next to the building for free.

It was a good size (not too big!, the food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. The outside area had plenty of seating and the view of the mountains was stunning!
You could easily walk to the lake over fields , so no annoyance with parking. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our room had a bath and a shower, which is unusual nowadays and was spacious and had lovely little touches of a metal water bottle and great coffee machine.

Borut and his parents are an excellent hosts, very kind and open. Apartment is small but for our family (2 small kids) was enough space. We celebrated New Years Eve there and through day we went to ski to Vogel ski center. Apartment has everything you need even a washing machine. Kids also liked outdoor space and although it is in the family house, you have enough privacy. Would definitely stay there again.
Everything was perfect! The hosts were amiable and helpful. The apartment was cozy and warm and prepared for a few days' stay. The localization is amazing, with a few steps to the tourist path, 10 min by foot to the lake, and 10 min to Vogel Ski Center by car.
The chalet is cute, cosy, warm and we felt like home. It has all the facilities one would need for a perfect winter fairytale. The sauna was a big plus, especially after a whole day spent on the ski slopes at Vogel. Check-in and check-out were straightforward. The host gave us his phone number to contact him in case of any questions and stayed reachable throughout our stay.
As for the location, the chalet is located 700m from Vogel Ski Center.

It was wonderful few days in this nice and cosy place located in small village Studor in Julian Alps, 10 minutes driving time from Vogel ski center and even closer to beautiful Bohin lake. Apartament offers everything whatever we need. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, two big rooms with comfortable beds, parking place in front of the house ... and, what was the nisest and fantastic, very hospitable hosts. Overall a great place for any season. We'll be back once for sure.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on the ground floor with amazing local food and pizza. It is located nearby Vogel Ski Center (10 minutes by car). Room was comfy and clean. We had everything what we needed.
The apartment is spacious and clean in a very nice location near the Bohinj lake and Vogel ski center. The terrace in front is a big plus and the entrance is on the other side of the house so it feels very private.
The host was super nice with great advices and even let us stay longer on our departure day.
