This is a working palace. It is beautiful inside and worth seeing. Don’t miss the change of the guard. Look up on line for the times. Get there a little early as the area fills with spectators quickly.

Excellent staff and no better location right by the royal palace and Nobel prize museum. Walkable to everything in Gamla Stan and only 15 minutes walk from central station.
The location was perfect! Just a few blocks away from the Royal Palace in Gamla Stan. The hotel was so quaint, and the history was amazing. The staff were so kind and helpful—they made us feel right at home, and even packed breakfast for us when we had to check out early!
The Grand Hotel Stockholm was gorgeous with an absolutely great location. The staff was welcoming and classy. The hotel gave us a wonderful Swedish experience. The breakfast room was beautiful overlooking the Royal Palace. We will definitely stay there when we return!
Super well located (right next to the Royal Palace and Old Town sights); easy to walk to the train, fantastic little restaurant with fair prices. Excellent breakfast spread and staffed 24/7. I was able to check out at 6 am with 0 hassle.

It is close to the Central Train Station. It is the location of a huge market. It is within walking distance to the Old Town, the Royal Palace, Parliament Buildings, numerous restaurants and Waterfront.

One of the best hotels in Stockholm. Not too far from the center, around 5-7 minutes from the royal palace if you have a car. The reception girl is exceptional and terrific in her professionalism, great job! Unfortunately, I don't remember her name :(! The restaurant is great! The location and area of the hotel are also great!

The staff was very friendly and there was always a person at the desk. The main staff spoke English very well. The hotel is an older building, but the bathrooms were modern and clean. We were able to control the temperature of our room -- air conditioning available. We liked the old Sweden decor. We really liked being in the Old Town and close to the Royal Palace and Nobel Prize Museum. The whole area of Gamal Stan is very charming and walkable, and has a metro stop. We used the metro a lot and found it easy to use.
