Amazing location, bring your mosquito repellent, you’ll be as advertised in the middle of the nature. (Which we preferred in our case)

Arriving in Vadu at Hypnose Resort, we were warmly and jovially greeted by Florian and Monica, the hosts of this serene oasis, who welcomed us with a refreshing bottle of cold water and given a detailed tour of our modern, impeccably equipped room, designed for relaxation. The room featured ample storage space, luggage placement areas, an espresso machine, an electric kettle, a mini-fridge stocked with essentials, and a spacious, ergonomically designed bathroom. The architecture of the small resort and its meticulous landscaping were so fluid and well-executed that we felt effortlessly guided around the premises. The blue of the saline water invited us to cool off in the cleanest pool we’ve experienced on our coast. The gentle August midday sun placed us on loungers, where we admired the storks in the neighboring nest. After filling our lungs with fresh air, we were ready to accept the invitation to dinner. Monica’s culinary passion ensured we wouldn’t leave anything on the generous plates, even after enjoying fish salads, pike roe, storceag, turbot, and the house cake, all cooked “with a twist” that made us wonder, as I did, “Did these fabulous roe get a fresh touch of orange?” Meanwhile, Florian, energetic and attentive to all who crossed his threshold, with his hospitable spirit, ensured that everything we needed materialized immediately and kept us company with stories and travel advice. Even Rares, the young family member, jumped in to help whenever he could, also when forgetful guests left their trousers behind. After four days of excellent hospitality and long roads among egrets, swans, cormorants, and rabbits in the Danube Delta Reserve and the wild beach at Vadu, we couldn’t bring ourselves to pack up and decided to extend our stay by another day, knowing that we could be pampered not only by the unique and rich wild nature of Vadu but also by the comfort of a small, welcoming and contemporary family “hotel” where we hope to return for many years to come.

Breakfast good. Location - if you are passing through and need somewhere to stay for a night it is good. The hotel was not well signed posted and is quite tucked away. We ended up in Baia and had to turn around. Walking around village area was ok but nothing spectacular. Staff were friendly. It was quiet, but given that it appears to be more of an event hotel if staying at the weekend it could be quite noisy. Good size pool but to chilly to try it out. Was OK for a one night stay.

Excellent hosts; the room and the yard are very well kept. The room is clean and tidy.

Very late uncertain arrival time was supported brilliantly, very friendly host, secure bike storage, good facilities.

The apartment provided all the essentials seamlessly, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. The hosts, in particular, were exceptionally gracious and accommodating, adding a personal touch to the stay.
