Sad fact of life, everything goes down, including the experience with this location (that we've previously ranked at a perfect 10). Oh well... The interaction with their voluble and jolly cook saved a bit the day, barely.

Try and go when there is a concert, the organ is amazing to listen to in that amazing church. However be aware as that sometimes access is limited at short notice because of a wedding or something else. It is always worth checking before. Also have something warm with you, the church is freezing even in the heath of the summer.

Why charge such a high price to visit a church? On the inside of the church is even a donation box asking to help support the church LOL
If you'd be able to climb the tower it may have been worth the effort but no, it's a no from me dog.

While the building is not so pretty, we had à very good surprise with the apartment, brand new setup. Nice, clean, spacious. Tv in all room, internet access. Also very good location, about 6 min from the forteresse and 10 min from main place, black church.
Everything about this accommodation is amazing. Located in the Old town of Brasov, easy access to so many restaurants, 5 minutes walk to Black church and the old market. The apartment offers everything you need for your stay: great quality towels, comfy beds, hair dryer, shower gel, shampoo, etc. It is such a cosy and welcoming place. Great communication with the host, compliments for making our stay so enjoyable.
Everything was amazing, we found the apartment clean and ready and warm. The location? Right next to the black church and the city center, walking distance to everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We arrived late in the evening and the owner had thoughtfully heated the whole apartment. After a long day of travelling and cold weather that was much appreciated! Thank you! The apartment had everything that a family might need! Spacious and equipped. Very close to the Black Church and the heart of the old city.
Unexpectedly nice hotel for reasonable money. Big clean room, nice furniture, very comfy bed mattresses. The room was well heated. 15 minute walking distance to the Black Church in the city center. Would definitely book a room here on a next trip to Brasov. The staff was helpful and breakfast was good.
This a lovel hotel located almost under the Brasov sign. Upon arrival the staff were polite and friendly and hotel is clean and modern. The view from the hotel room is fantastic with a great view of the Old Town and the Black Church. The room itself was very spacious and modern and we were very happy with the 2 nights we spent here. In the morning the breakfast is served in a room with a view of Brasov and they serve a good selection which is well cooked.
Everything. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There's free parking just in front of the hotel and the location of the hotel is great; just a few minutes walking distance from the city center and main attractions such as the Synagogue, Black Church, restaurants, shops and cafes.
Our room was very spacious and the bed was comfy.
At night it is very quiet, so we slept very well.
