What’s not to like about wandering up the wide drive of a palace and knowing you have bed for the night? From the hand-painted walls and ceilings to the serene swimming pool that offers a glimpse of the sea, there is just so much here to love. The staff is extremely welcoming, kind and funny. It was divinely quiet and so very comfortable.

The location was great and easy walking distance to the main square of Sintra. We loved the views from our balcony, easiness and access to the AirBnb. They should boast more that they are adjacent to a beautiful park and right near the entrance to hike to Moorish Castle and Pena Palace! That was a hidden perk that we found out about. The stay had all we could need and more.

A great site with multiple routes through the extensive grounds. The Initiation well goes down steps for several stories, emerging below with a view through a waterfall. We walked here from our accommodations and it made a nice day out. Take a snack or water as the onsite restaurant is very pricey.

Take a leisure walk from where ever you stay to Quinta da Regaleira. Purchase an audio tour and stroll your way through this fascinating "home". Take time to look at the decor and the architecture. Then, plan to spend some time exploring these amazing and unique grounds. Explore the labyrinth of caverns and tunnels as well as the beauty of the flora in the gardens. We visited 4 castles in Sintra - Quinta de Regaleira, Pena Palace, Moorish Scales and Monseratte and definitely the Regaleira was our favorite for the intricate architecture and the thoughtful details and stunning views from each nook around the gardens and the palace.
The gardens are magnificent and very well maintained.
So much beauty everywhere, we felt like in a fairy tale. :)

The apartment is on a great location,Quinta da regaleira and the city center are within walking distance. There is spare bedding, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Bed and pillows are very comfortable and the flat was clean.
Clean, modern rooms in a central location, with friendly, English-speaking staff! Walkable from the Sintra train station (though climbing the stairs was much tougher with luggage--definitely a workout!) and very close to the Quinta da Regaleira. Wifi worked great for a quick work call and we were able to back up a backlog of travel photos overnight! Property photos accurately depict what we experienced.
Copious breakfast. No elevators needed as it's a one story. We walked through Sintra to Quinta da Regaleira in about an hour. These historic sites can get quite busy during the summer so you may be disappointed by the crowds, but we weren't disappointed by the hotel.
Location was excellent - last stop I think before you get up to the castles. Views were incredible. Private walking path down that was close to Quinta da Regaleira and could be taken all the way into town. Facilities were awesome. Closets were great and setup for long stays. Pool on site. Option for dinner there which was great! We can't wait to come back for a longer stay.
We absolutely loved this apartment. Really welcoming hosts, beautifully decorated inside and out, own private garden, extremely comfortable bed, a lazy boy sofa to relax in, all the amenities one could need and then some, and a heartwarming welcome-package. Wonderful location with a short walk to some good restaurants and a beach. Also an easy drive to the sights around like Quinta da Regaleira, Pena palace etc. Wish we spent less time in Lisbon and more time here. Would love to go back and stay longer.
The property was beautiful! It was a perfect location as it was right in the middle of Sintra and close to the shops and restaurants! It was walkable to Quinta da Regaleira and Parque y Palacio Biester. The room was incredible, clean and comfortable! We would love to stay here again!
This apartment is GORGEOUS! Clean, spacious, well equipped, and it's in an unbeatable location right across from the National Palace. It's a short walk to Quinta da Regaleira, and the stop for the bus (434) that goes up to Pena Palace is 1 minute away. We stayed here as a family of four with two children, and it was the perfect size for us. I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to friends visiting Sintra.
Our hostess was very helpful with check in, stowing the car, and recommending a good nearby restaurant, not that there aren't dozens of great ones within walking distance. In particular she recommended Raiz Sintra, about a fifteen minute walk away. This location is a great spot for visiting nearby Pena Palace, The Moorish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira and closest of all, Sintra National Palace. The room had a lovely view of the Sintra area, especially at night. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if we were ever back in Sintra.
I stayed 1 night and saw Quinta da Regaleira. It was a nice clean hotel with a good breakfast. The lady who checked me in was very nice and informative on things to do and places to eat nearby. The view is also very nice.
The hotel is walking distance from old town and Quinta da Regaleira. Pena palace is a half hour Uber ride away. Staff is very nice. We upgraded to a room with a view (wasn't much of a view).
