Framed by towering cliffs and rock formations, this sheltered seaside spot is pretty as a picture. Golden sand and bright turquoise waters make Praia de Dona Ana a firm favourite with Lagos locals. Follow their lead and get there early to soak up the sun – the beach is in shadow by late afternoon.
