This our second time here because this hotel is our favorite. The staff are really warm and caring but also skilled professionals. Nicole was very generous in particular, but it’s a great team. The design is excellent, the location is beautiful and peaceful with a great pool and delicious meals. The massages and sauna were new to us this time and very well done. We feel truly cared for and restored whenever we come here. Even our cat, lazing away on the patio or the bed the hotel provided him, enjoys vacation time here.

Excellent location within the village walls, very friendly host/owner (Carlos). Parking available in the street by the residence between 6 PM and 11 AM, otherwise, outside the village in a large public parking lot just outside the gate, just a few minutes walk. Beautifully renovated residence with a modern decor, impeccably kept, very clean. We had room on the second floor with a very large walkout terrace with amazing views of the valley below and sunset at night. Very nice bathroom with walk-in shower. Very comfortable large size bed (between US Queen and King). Very good continental breakfast with a large choice of items. Common area terrace with a small pool looking out over the valley, and a golf putting green. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night, we would have loved staying here for a week, it's that nice. TV in the room.

Great location with excellent view of Monsaraz castle. Nice layout which gave a sense of privacy to guests. Cute gardens with pretty flowers, little pathways and charming features. Refreshing swimming pool with nice balance if sun & shade.
Truly an amazing, one of a kind historical place to stay (the Casa Pinto, the room, and overall Monsaraz castle/fortress)...like something out of a fairytale. Friendly staff, beautiful views, very romantic.

Everything about this newly renovated accommodation was delightful, from the friendly welcome to the tastefully decorated public rooms and the wonderful breakfast we had after our walk to the Monsaraz castle next morning.
Everything! The huge pool, peaceful atmosphere, staff gave excellent service, even went out of their way, putting tablecloth on selected table, breakfast was great, rooms comfortable and what a tiny quaint little village. Monsaraz castle and the area was wonderful. There is a lake nearby as well. And the sandwiches they made for us right before going home, we still talk about how good they were.
