Great staff, beautiful setting, bedrooms had high ceilings and spacious rooms and balconies.
Breakfast was excellent as well as dinner menu. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Pet friendly in ideal location for walks. Also large parking area.
Situated a 5-minute walk from Mareta Beach, Pontalaia offers apartments with a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool, the Atlantic Ocean or Sagres. Guests can benefit from a gym and sauna.

Our apartment was perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the Nespresso coffee. Water, Juice, jam and more waited for us on the table. Very good.
We used the balcony also. Narrow but not to small.
Bathroom had good size and was well equipped.
Bedroom ok size. We had two single beds.
They were a bit squeky. Many pillows available, but not small and soft as we both prefer.
We had a good nights sleep anyway.
Location was ok, near Spar mercado, near some good restaurants and not far from the beach.
Value for money - will visit again if in Sagres.

A fairly easy hike from Sagres - lots of flowers, birds and butterflies to see along the way, especially in early spring. The Cape itself is often very busy with coachloads of tourists, and there are all the vans selling everything touristy, including the hotdogs from the end of Europe - or variations on that theme.
