Check in was very friendly and offered helpful meal recommendations away from the inflated tourist prices. Unlinke some places who claim their parking is "right nearby" then send you blocks away, Golden Queen's parking was easy and immediately adjacent to the hotel. You do have to walk outside approximately 20 feet from the parking entrance to the hotel's guest entrance. Breakfast was expansive and served in a very sumptuous dining room.
